Thanatos is a pretty underrated midfielder, sure he is of the muscular bodytype but he has a level 3 block move, level 3 dribble move and a level 3 shot making him one of the more diverse players in the original strikers, the thing is that being able to block an attack before it even begins in my opinion is one of the best qualities for midfielder to have, imagine this scenario the enemy team just activated their fire gauge thing and steal the ball from you, if your midfielder can block you can stop them immediately and continue your attack but if they don't the enemy will be able to charge for a good while and by the time they reach your defense they will just shoot through them

Man imagine if Sharp had Spinning Cut like in the first DS game, he would be even stronger than he already is. Personally I still would put Sharp at 1 but thats becuase I always have him in my teams, really there is maybe one team that does not include him, this guy is probably my favorit player in this game.

In Orion he actually does have a shot that he can use by himself! He got it from Haizaki, but hey! A shot is a shot haha

I think that if Thanatos didn’t look so weird he could be top 3 contender as he has a level 3 move in defence dribble and shooting in dark matter. Maybe even better than stonewall. Only problem with him is that he can’t have a coop move.

Hmmm he'd definitely would be way better. Also, his feint has to be improved then as well as that is one of the worst ones in the game. Interesting character to note man!

Dragon Blaze very true but I would mainly use him as a defensive midfielder to be able to defend and dribble more than use the feints and shot. The shot would just be there in case no one else is available.

Funnily enough with the distance thing on jet stream you don't need to get that close to get a full power long shot, thanks to the xtreme mod I found out you don't even have to move up half of the opponents side for a full power shot(I'd say moving up one third is a good place to shoot from)

Very good list bro, i completely agree with fuduo and kidou on 1 and 2 and it is insane that fudou has a shot dribbling and block so i think too that he deserves place number 1. I haven’t used bellatrix that much in the game because of wittz but i can try her. I also like Kazemaru and Aphrodi and it is insane why Aphrodi has a kick stat of an A for me. I don’t know what you think about Fubuki on the midfield but i think Fubuki is also one of the best midfielders if you combine him with Hiroto Kidou and Fudou. But anyway great list love this series

Hey thanks for the awesome comment man! I think that Fubuki is fine as a midfielder as well! I usually have him as a forward, but midfielder also works pretty well for that character!

My top 5 midfielders are 5. Torch because of atomic flair 4. Erik many coop shots with a powerfull defender and keeper 3. Aphrodite because he is a very strong midfielder with all his shots 2. Shadow because he can do middfield block and i like that more for shadow 1. Jude because of all his powerfull coop shots

Oh alright! Torch, Shadow and Erik on the list! I can see Shadow and Torch honestly. Even though I like them more in other positions, but Erik feels a bit too weak even when he has other characters with him. I do think that he is a good character with utility, but it's just too bad he doesn't have a level 3 shot and that his co-op moves don't really break through any of the top tier goalkeepers level 3 moves.

I see what you mean but erik is really cluch and for me he broke through the end twice with the phoenix and that we're the only two coop shots that scored and flame dance is always there when i need it with Erik although he hasn't a level 3 shot he's clutch in matches

On,y would swap Nathan with bellatrix just because bellatrix is not as versatile as Nathan, and Nathan pairs much better with other top tier players like Shawn axel and Jude, while bellatrix has to use wittz

Totally feel you here! I just put Bellatrix above Nathan in the sense that when you use her to use Space Penguin and you can score against anyone. It's just such a big edge above a lot of other characters! Nathan is a lot more versatile, but just the scoring power of Bellatrix couldnt' be ignored imo!

My opinion: -Kidou : genius tactician .lot of moves.best dribble move. -kazemaru: strong dribbles and ton of moves for forward. Stonewall has no moves of his own he is bad

Yeah kinda true, but then she also doesn't really have that much scoring potential as well as I think she can only get a C in kick as her max kick stat in this game and she doesn't have nearly as many co-op moves as Jude. Biggest unfortunate thing is the kick stat man..
