Faustin was a perfect GTA Character. Right from the get go you know what he is. Most of all though he was loyal to the ones really important and good to him.

Faustin even though it was a dickhead to his wife and a pretty stubborn guy he was a very well writen character in the series. I actually found it very shit to kill him in GTA 4.

The game gives you the choice to kill or spare so many times, even for characters important to the story, it was bullshit to be forced to kill Faustin.

To be fair Rockstar made them annoying on purpose just to make them become the Antagonist. There was one character in GTA SA that got on my nerves and her name was Catalina now most GTA fans recognized her as the antagonist from GTA 3 but man the way she talks and always compains is so annoying. Not to mention the missions you do for her can take a long time to do. I want everyone to know I never played GTA 3 so I never knew that she would be the antagonist in that game. So yeah I think Catalina in my opinion is the MOST annoying character in GTA franchise.

I find it funny that in the beginning he said that one of the factors of ranking them is how much trouble they cause to the protagonist. Hell, I didn't even found Manny to be annoying, I actually found him pretty funny with the whole "streets" thing, and while, yes, he is superficial and obviously didn't care a single bit about "the streets", it was still funny to hear him say "streets" every 10 words. I actually thought that Faustin was way more annoying, my god, that scene when Niko goes to his house and he isn't there, and he sits in the dining room with Faustin's wife got me in my nerves, because when he got home he just yelled and berated her for no reason and made her run crying. It's also pretty plausible he hit her too when he got drunk (which is frequent in the short time Niko is around) so yeah, I actually was glad when Dimitri set us up to kill him, because at least now I know that his now ex-wife will live a better life without him around and his daughter won't have an overprotective douchebag controlling her life.

I highly doubt Big Smoke would have done anything if Tenpenny was killed. In contrast, Ray was a mobster for a mafia family. Johnny and Jim had enough balls to rip off Ray. Eventually he would have ran into Niko and the smart money is on Niko. In fact, Johnny even shows fear for Niko. Irony is what Johnny and Jim did by trying to rip off Ray? That was already death sentence.
