Such a good video and such a good idea to have knowledge on what you're looking to buy. I was gutted when I bought the Kaabo because it was just too heavy 😩😭 going to get me an Apollo next 😄✌️

pretty much spot on there. nice video and thanks for sharing. quick question on the watt hour of the battery.. that "Watt hour".. is that hour.. the longest it can in theory supply the scooter at full power for... say a 2 x 1000w scooter with a 1000w/hr battery in theory can power it for up to 30mins at full power or have i looked at this value rating wrong?

So even if and when they're made legal here, anything over 25km/h could still be illegal? D: I'm currently looking at getting a Vsett 10+ or Nami Burn-E, but if they're still going to outlaw them then I might hold off

Hello i get an ECU sign on my display and it wont accelerate. I drove when it rained quite a lot and this is probably why. I looked up ECU and found out its to do with the control unit. So is it just a case of buying a new one of those? And is there specific types for specific models of scooters or does it not matter which one you buy? Or what can i do? Would appreciate any help.

Hey man I’ve been looking for a scooter for a while and I’m looking for Around 1000+ plus dual motor Water resistance because I live in Ireland Something that lasts Weight is not a problem I am pretty strong I want good speed and decent range 30-40 miles per hour And I have a budget of around 1200 euro Best case scenario is a 1800 euro scooter on sale for 1200 but I have been looking at the emove cruiser and I’m around 75kg but the emove cruiser is a bit on the slower side
@steggven9363 жыл бұрын
So what would you reccomend?
@RIDEGLIDE3 жыл бұрын
So for the budget you would prob be looking at vsett 8+, 9+ or Apollo Ghost. Only ip54 rated but still a rating and plenty of power. The e move is a cool scooter with a solid water proof rating but design and power are not for everyone but definitely a good choice! Dualtron eagle/victors on a sale may be good, no official IP rating but we have very few back in with water problems!! Hopefully that helps!

Oh ok what do you think of the solar p1 for the money you get incredible specs
@RIDEGLIDE3 жыл бұрын
@@steggven936 we haven’t had much to do with the solar scooters but the specs look good for the money! We don’t normally advise having an adjustable stem for higher powered scooters but their locking mechanism might be really good! Worth speaking to some owners to see what they think! That’s normally the best way to find out reliability etc but also worth finding out if parts are stocked in the UK in case any problems arise!! 👍

It blows my mind that private scooters aren't legal for you guys, but the rentals that are misused and left laying about are just dandy. Beam scooters just arrived in my home town (West Australia) and it's a mess, NO ONE cares about stuff they don't own. As for "safely integrating" translates to "how we can tax you more" while trying to look good. Also, why does none of this BS apply to bikes?

I had no idea other countries regulated scooters as heavily as they do; I’m in the U.S. and I’ve just bought the fastest, most powerful scooter I could afford and I can ride it virtually anywhere I please…. And that’s in California! And no state loves their rules and regulations more than California

In Canada it's mostly illegal to ride on other than private land, but in most places it's "tolerated," and it is mostly if you wear safety gear and don't ride like a dick.

Germans love their rules and regulations, they are perhaps the worst example of a free people in the world, nobody with a rational free thinking mind should follow in their footsteps. Therefore i think wanting them "legalized" is a bit misguided, governments do nothing better than ruining fun for everyone and stagnating progress with it's own principles of what something should be. It could kill the passionate e-scooter scene entirely. Legalization does not equal freedom for all, or fairness to those without a license. If you somehow think e-scooters should be regulated to the extent of requiring a license, insurance and registration, then you've lost the point of alternative transport altogether. What is the point of having options if they all force you into the exact framework to cars? Seriously, laws make nothing better. People still die in car crashes, In neglect of what they were suppose to have learned, taking innocent lives with them. It doesn't make a damn difference when you take human error into account. Even with data & statistics, you can't compare billions of car drivers with a few hundred thousand e-scooter riders when the riding environment is all designed for cars. You can barely walk anywhere safely nowadays because vehicular arrogance. Thinking within the current legal framework will not work in taking PEVs into the future, and it surely will not grant us the "freedom" we currently have riding them, even on "private land". You don't need laws to encourage rational riding, you need rational people. The problem of irrationality is not an issue isolated to the use of vehicles.
