Just recently got a 08 328i sedan e90. Loving the car but she’s gotta go in for some sensors ☹️

What sensors?

@@InlineSixAuto brake pad wear. But recently I’ve been having a cold start issue. Have you ever had a issue with your cold start?

@@PaXx.Dalton What issue are you having on cold start? I just have a rough idle for a few seconds on start up sometimes but it hasnt gotten worse

@@InlineSixAuto When I start the car it starts at 1k rpm then will will dip down to 600rpm within seconds. But soon as it dips down the car self revs up to 2k rpm then after that it slowly goes down to 600rpm and it’s fine

@@PaXx.Dalton could be the spark plugs, coils, maf sensor, fuel injectors, fuel pump etc. Maybe go get it diagnosed by a certified bmw mechanic or even get it smoke tested.

Quick question, do you not use sportmode anymore since you installed the coil overs?
@InlineSixAuto2 жыл бұрын
I use sport mode still, why wouldn't I because of coilovers?
@BashxSaiyan2 жыл бұрын
@@InlineSixAuto I heard that coil overs mess up the computer for the driving mode. Or maybe it was lowering springs, but I wanted to get a second opinion. I still haven't started modding my f30.
@InlineSixAuto2 жыл бұрын
@@BashxSaiyan Where did you hear that? Maybe if your F30 has the electronic dampening function where it'll make the suspension a bit stiffer in sport mode. But that's only an option on the later F30 years I think 2016-2018 340's. Even then, they make coil overs compatible with that function from what I've seen. Also mine does not have that option since its a 2014 335i. So you should be able to find use coilovers for yours no matter which year.

@@InlineSixAuto My 2013 335i has EDC but IMO it's not worth the cost to go for aftermarket EDC suspension. It's double the price of non EDC aftermarket suspension while having very little difference in feel between EDC and non-EDC suspension. You're better off getting an EDC delete kit.
@InlineSixAuto2 жыл бұрын
@@justFiji Oh okay, good to know as I wasn't really knowledgeable on that. So the best thing to do would be to delete the EDC and just get regular coilovers without EDC? Or whats the best way to lower the car if you have EDC?
