As a ruffs main, I find that the sandbags gadget is REALLY good, you rarely hit the other one, but the survivability with the sandbags is crazy, for example, it lets you counter fang if you walk between them and him. Also make sure your constantly bouncing his shots for maximum range

My house almost burnt down and here's the story (it burnt down anyway). So it was the weekend and my friend was sleeping over, while my brother was sleeping over at a different friends house and my parents were driveway drinking with the neighbors a few houses down. So the only people at my house were my and my friend and my two dogs. Well I spilt a sprite so I got paper towels to clean it up and then accidentally left them on the stovetop. Then one of my dogs decides to check what is on the stove by putting his paws on the stove and that happens to turn the exact burner that I left the paper towels on. Then after like a minute, it catches fire. I smell something burning and go into the kitchen, and it's just bursting in flames, and me and my friend remember that I have a fire extinguisher under the sink and manage to put it out. Then like a few months later my neighbors diy solar panels batteries explode and actually catches my house on fire while I'm at school. My other neighbors grabbed my dogs before they would get in trouble so no one got hurt.
