WamblyHades Underground 2 was hands down my favorite nfs my first game and Underground is also good hot pursuit had really good exotics and I didn’t play most wanted that much since i don’t own it but it’s good tho and carbon is ok but it’s a short story and some cars have bad steering like the viper in carbon had the worst steering but good acceleration

Wow. This list is... What?! No 90's NFS games? SHIFT 1 of all games made the list? I do admit I've warmed up to it since it came out, but not only is the second game far superior, SHIFT 1 shouldn't even be in a Top 10 list, let alone a Top 5. At least you gave HP2010 the credit it deserves (god dammit, that game is so underrated) and didn't make Underground 2 number 1. Props for that, but... SHIFT 1 sucks.

bad driving physics was most nfs games anyway. underground was different to me and carbon. you could barely turn in prostreet. shift handled more like grid. Don't know what criterion was doing...

@@TheMammalizerOLD played all those too grew up on nfs high stakes and carbon...moved on to grid series and then unleashed 2...I can tell you tho unleashed was more forgiving than grid 1 and the two are nothing alike...grid 2 was a bit easy arcade but fun, and autosport is a bit less twitchy than other grids...going back to grid 1 this past week and it was harder to master after such a long break, where I can get good fast in any NFS today but I enjoy unleashed 2 most for the fact tuning actually worked the physics when you take your time on it. Playing dirt series now and codemasters will always be good at what they do...unfortunately cant say the same about nfs with EA/others..

NFSU2 my favourite racing games. I played most wanted(2005), but U2 had so many races to go forward in the story, and its location is special for racing drift race.

Nolan Kadinger Cause new story based Need For Speed sucks. It's a like wannabe Fast & Furious to me now. I loved the pick and drive fast randomly it was so simple but so fun.

I completely agree with this list. While I had both Undergrounds, they just didn't feel magical to me like the classic NFS titles did. I wasn't very attracted to driving a Peugeot 206 and a Honda Civic when I grew up playing with glorious Ferraris, Porsches and McLarens....

I've just started with the NfS series with Most Wanted on the Vita, and now I really want to play the console version of it, but also another one. Hot Pursuit sounds really cool, but I wouldn't mind playing the older ones on the PS2.

Allow me to confess: I actually don't get the Most Wanted hype. I enjoyed the game when it first came out, but shock: the police pursuits just bored me after a while. Perhaps I was so used to the DRIVER style of police chases, with more weighty physics and damage, idk! I didn't like the colour palette either, and certain elements of Underground 2 were cut out. And the story grated on me a bit, as it did in Carbon. Nevertheless, I still sank many hours into it as a kid. Just preferred Carbon a bit more (I think the huge selection of muscle cars in that game helped!) and was probably so into Underground 2 that MW didn't quite do it for me. I'd be interested to go back and play it again though. Glad to see some Shift love on there - Shift 2 Unleashed is friggin' awesome, and you can see the roots of what would become Project CARS in there.

Swap GT1 and GT5 and that's my list. Putting GT5 above GT1 because it has more content is unfair, because GT1 is most definitely the better game. The rest is spot-on.

+Zak Stratford-Smith the only problems I've had with the game is its online only and there isn't enough cars. Everything else I adore.. had no major glitches, and it seems that it's the first EA game to cater to the fans desires we want manual we get it, want new races get it ext ext, new game modes, FREE DLC need I say more haha.
