I first saw, Greta Gerwig in “Greenberg” (2010) as the female lead/love interest with Ben Stiller - where she stole every scene. I immediately sense she was going to be her generations “Annie Hall”, but then she just kept being typed cast as this zany actress in other features like “Frances Ha” (2012)... However, last year she turned in 2 performances worthy of Oscar nods in “20th Century Women” (1 zany) and “Jackie” (1 dramatic). A year later, she’s up for Best Picture, Director and Screenplay for “Ladybird” and she’s been so Humble and Gracious. Now the whole world is discovering her many talents.
