Whoop! I bought some MCD when it dipped to $244, I’d happily buy more if they dip again in 2025. Considering you just showed the world that Concentrix is a company worth looking we’d all love a deep dive into their financials. They’ve had a big dip since Sept 24th, wonder what happened.

I've invested primarily in dividends for a very long time. This is not to say that I do not own growth stocks-I do. A well-rounded portfolio has to include elements from both areas. Maintaining a sizable cash cushion is one technique to reduce the stress associated with stock market trading. Although I invest in the market, I never use all of my funds there.
@SusanAlice-o6k2 ай бұрын
Instead of reinvesting in the same stock, I occasionally utilize my dividends to purchase additional income and growth stocks for diversification. But to each their own ways. What matters is that you're investing in the first place, which is a positive thing.
@tatianastarcic2 ай бұрын
Based on personal experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $1m in a well-diversified portfolio that has experienced exponential growth. It's not only about having money to invest in stocks, but you also need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to back it up.

What would be the best 5 etfs to hold now for foreigners
@Miltonpao-s3b2 ай бұрын
China's CSI 300 broad-based index, Science and Technology 50, and Shanghai Stock Exchange 50 still have gains of at least 50 points. Personally I put down 1.3m$ on few ETFs, still diversifying. It was this time last year I made a huge break through with 200k. Handed it to a firm here in Texas, I get impressive weekly pay out which I put back on long term ETF's. IWM will probably crush it this quarter

I've tried investing in various things that didn't work out as I hoped. Now, I'm looking at ETFs as a more reliable option. What are the best 5 ETFs for a beginner looking to invest a lump sum?
@jackwpetrov2 ай бұрын
In no particular order: 1) VOO 2) QQQM 3) SCHG/VUG 4) VTI 5) SCHD/DGRO. I personally invested $1.2 million across a few ETFs and am still diversifying. Around this time last year, I had my first breakthrough with a liquid $370k, which I handed to a trader here in Texas. I get weekly payouts and reinvest them in long-term ETFs. Tesla will be a big buy for me when the market bottoms out.

I currently have a good amount in savings and checking accounts. I have zero debt. I have a 401K at work, but there's not much in it yet. I opened a Roth IRA last year, I have no idea what I'm doing and need help on what to do and how I can invest some of my savings or checking. Should I hire a financial advisor? I really lack basic education on how to invest and what in. I feel I need a lot of guidance. I have no idea what's good or bad advice.
@PatrickIliou2 ай бұрын
I did for the majority of my portfolio. Aside from the fact that I don’t have the time or energy to actively manage my money, they also provide me with extras like creating a will, creating different types of accounts, handling my taxes, insurance advice and procurement, etc. For me it was worth it.
@alanwayne40352 ай бұрын
when you say majority of your portfolio I assume that you can compare your returns with or without an advisor, which is preferable ?
@PatrickIliou2 ай бұрын
Yea I have some fun money in RH but the big majority is managed by Nancy Magaret Delony. I have scaled to 1.7 in investments and find that she is indeed worth the cost to have in my corner. I think in a bear market she is good at beating the market; in a bull market she lags a bit. But that's the point, I think.
@alanwayne40352 ай бұрын
Excellent share, just inputted Nancy Magaret Delony on the internet, spotted her consulting page ranked top and was able to send an email. I've seen commentaries about advisors but not one looks this phenomenal. God blessings on you.
@hirvingpetagna2 ай бұрын
As a retired advisor I’d say this, if you have the knowledge, the time, the risk tolerance and the ability to do good DD (due diligence) than heck no, you don't, but if even 1 of those needs is an issue for you, get an advisor, any cost associated with an advisor is far less than 1-2 bad decisions if you’re wrong on a stock or fund

The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?
@AidenLiamf7q2 ай бұрын
In particular, amid inflation, investors should exercise caution when it comes to their exposure and new purchases. It is only feasible to get such high yields during a recession with the guidance of a qualified specialist or reliable counsel.
@MasonJacobo2w2 ай бұрын
True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diverssify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of 550k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.

Investing in stocks could seem easy, but choosing the right stock without a tested plan might be difficult. For the longest time, I've been attempting to grow my $210,000 portfolio, but the largest obstacle is the absence of a well-defined entrance and exit strategy. On this subject, any input would be really appreciated.

Dealing across multiple asset classes can reduce risk more effectively than putting all of your money into one. If you don't understand finances properly, see a financial consultant.

A multitude of individuals downplay the significance of advice until their own emotions become unbearable. A few summers ago, after a drawn-out divorce, I needed a big shove to stay afloat with my firm. I located the most qualified advisor after searching for licensed advisors. Despite inflation, she has helped me grow my reserve from $275k to $850k.

You seem to know the market better than we do, so that makes great sense. Who is the guide?

Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with *Julianne Iwersen-Niemann* for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive.She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

@zacharyderose51062 ай бұрын
As a tradesmen who works in the industry, they suck and people in the know all know that they suck and actively avoid their products. The only reason they are still around is because Honeywell salesmen sell their garbage to management and disregard the opinions of the blue collar workers that they employ.
@Mario_Life_CapitanАй бұрын
Only one from the list is worth buying right now, and that's Honeywell.
@serioserkanalname4992 ай бұрын
I think you need to look deeper into these companies. Of course its important to check the finances of the buisness and the past few years of cashflow, shares outstanding etc. But for example with Honeywell the 10%+ growth expectation has to come from somewhere. What new products are they about to release, in what markets, whats the cagr of these markets, does honeywell have a competetive advantage over its peers in that segment? Noone couldve predicted that nvidia would grow hundreds of % a few years ago looking at the paultry % increases yoy from their gaming gpu segment. But one couldve seen that nvidia is the only company making good gpu's (lmao @ amd) and speculated that should gpu's aka parallel computing become important, nvidia would skyrocket. Sadly... as a student I didnt have any money a few years ago lol. But thats just one example of why past performance isnt that meaningful. No, I dont hold honeywell. But I was considering them for the portfolio given their presence in industrial automation since I expect in a few decades, most heavy lifting will be done by autonomous machines.

This 100% I remember D data not mentioning TSM simply because of the fact that they’re capex heavy but forget the fact that they are a foundry (a much better one than Intel) that supplies all the chips for the AI designers like NVDA.
