IBM Certifications are TOTALLY WORTH IT, they arm you with Industry Grade skills across the board with very little bias towards IBM products, unlike Google, Facebook certifications that are particularly tailored to Google/Facebook products. Imagine a Google Data Engineer without trainings on Pandas, pySpark but they forcefully throw in Google Cloud, Facebook Data Engineer and they teach you in React, lol. Google Certifications is just a Google Products Certification

Because I've seen that some of the advanced ones include all the basics such as python automation, containers, kubernetes, etc. But I don't see more specific cloud uses such as Azure or AWS which I've seen heavily on demand.

That is entirely dependent on the course. I currently hold the Google IT Support Certificate, and it was completely vendor neutral, teaching Windows and Linux and pretty in-depth concepts of IT. Hardly any "Google" content. I'm not saying they're perfectly impartial for every course, but the presenter's assessment of the #1 to get is accurate in my opinion.

​@Angel Maldonado certificates like these by Google aren't the same as a degree. I'd think of it more as something you could add onto your resume to show employers you have some type of skill in regards to data analytics. It can prepare you for entry level jobs, but it's not the same as a degree.

This is only partially helpful, you can do these all day but if you don't learn anything from them or turn it into your own projects where you show competency, then you won't get hired. Remember guys, content creators are focused on getting as many views as possible, not about providing the most informative and "real world" knowledge. They only have statistical charts to look at on "career summary" websites. A cert will either help you or not help at all depending entirely on other factors on your resume like previous work experience and a project portfolio. @@crishnaholmes7730 Case management since it’s by treatment, IT Support as it is by ticket, and social worker since it’s by issue. HR assistants can be slower paced. Something I’ve learned recently is that smaller companies want faster paced output since they are trying to grow and they don’t always have the ability to train they kind of want it to be figured out which I can figure things out but not fast.

I have had the IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate saved in my Coursera list for several months now and after watching this video I see there is an IBM Data Scientist Professional Certificate course that is only one month longer to complete. Five months verses four months. I work as a support Engineer, so I have a lot of Excel experience and I sort a lot of data for my department, I'm just not a "trained" Data Analyst." Anything that’s grows your understanding of the skill is going to benefit you, analyze the cost and time you have to put into it and see if it will be worth it for you, if you don’t have to go into debt for it than absolutely worth it, but I’d also say there is a lot of free information for any topic if you know where to look
