It's always interesting to hear about middle eastern brands. As far as oud fragrances go, I confess I prefer the European perfumer's fantasy of oud over the real thing. Oud Palao is great, I think it's much better than Oud Ispahan. Oud Alhambra ( Ramon Monegal ) and Oud Extravagant ( Maitre Parfumeur ) are two particular favorites of mine. Is there an ex-pat community where you live? There seem to be Brits working in every country in the world, but fewer Americans.

Excellent choices. I haven't smelled Oud Extravagant. Yeah, I guess there are expat communities for people in the military and those with other contracting jobs. I'm not part of any community here. Most of the Americans I knew have left.

What’s good Fam, Al Shams is a beast!! I actually got a back up bottle of it I love it so much!! Sometimes I wear it on its own and sometimes w like to layer it with another Oud/Rose fragrance that I have!! I fell in love with Oud Palao the first time I smelled it and also have a back up bottle of!! There are so many Oud fragrances in my collection, but if I had to narrow it down I would start with Oud by Spirit of Dubai, Blue Sapphire by Boadicea, Mysterious Oud & Oud Monarch by Bortnikoff and last but not least Oudh Infini by Dusita which is in my humble opinion the baddest Oud scent in out there!! Great List Bro, I would love to see the one that was first on your list I’d about!! It’s hard to find pieces by dude

Right on! That's a great list of yours for sure. I finally tried Oudh Infini for the first time the other day. I was pissed I missed out on getting it like $150 off. All the ones you mentioned are QUITE expensive lol! The sasora oil I talked about is $200 retail for 3ml. But I got the customary 50% off. You would really like it based on the ones you shared. If I can, I will try to get a couple of those Blue Kenam Extrait de Parfum to sell since it's really hard to find. Maybe in a couple of months. There are a few places that still have them here.

@@mrnorthpresents Trust me Fam, I have many others, but those are to me the Crème De La Crème of my collection!! I finally was able to get my hands on a bottle of Leather Oud!!! I got hit over the head, but for that Big Bottle that never was sprayed plus it’s the earlier formulation!! I had to have it!!! I have Cuir d’arabie by Montale, but it wasn’t what I expected based on certain reviewers!! I thought it was going to be that funk, but it’s actually a good scent overall!! You get a very brief Oudiness in the beginning then it transitions into a leathery montale sorta scent if you get my meaning!!

Dope! I'm glad you finally got Leather Oud. Of course that would've been on the list but I like it more for its animalic qualities from the civet. It's so much to check out. I'm in the chypre fruity rabbit hole right now. I'll have to circle around back to oud lol.

Love my Oud's, I gotta put my nose on that Dyptique and Montale I like both houses. Montale will be a blind buy there is no places near by that has samples.
