Another Tip: Go for pets from monsters that have a higher gp/hr first. Then you can use the profits to buy things like a scythe or tbow, making the other grinds faster.

to be honest, I have a bachelors in mathematics and I feel that he did go out of his way to say that drop rates are not affected by getting a pet and I want to let it slide. Maybe it is important to say that, maybe it does confuse a lot of people. But I do think you can find meaning in what he said, a person who puts themselves out there and gets kc's trying to get a pet will get them. Although to be honest this is not the case for me at all, I got my first pet after a year and a half, my 2nd one 8 months later, and I've done my most bossing since then and have gone thousands of kc's dry of anything

Got my first pet the baby mole yesterday! Saved this vid to try and motivate me. Grinding out totem pieces for skotizo, mixed in with soloing wintertodt, farming specific spots for tanglerroot and occasionally gonna go for chaos elemental pet

The variety rule tends to the best one for me. I have 4 pets myself. Got the Phoenix on drop rate, got the chaos elemental at 71kc, got vorki at 414kc, then like a week or 2 after vorki I got the scorpia pet at 14 kc. Really your best bet is to do 100 kills at every boss in the game and kinda cycle it. More likely than not you have at least one pet thats gonna drop below 100kc. It also keeps you from burning out. Im a collective 40m exp dry for the beaver for instance yet on my alt got the heron at 69 fishing.

Mining pet is cool because it's the only pet you can alter the look, sure it's just color but I believe it is the only one you can change.

Got rock golem at level 45 mining at motherload mine. Just started the game 3 weeks ago. Going for 99 runecrafting, im at 77, doing bloods now. I want the rune crafting pet and then hopefully after I can get 99 agility with the pet

Going for one pet with 1/3000 and then going for another with 1/3000 isn’t faster at getting a pet then going for a single pet with 1/3000. Those have the same odds, but you’re going to be able to kill the singular boss, or w/e faster if you don’t switch to another pet since it takes time to switch. In fact, try to go for a range of pets will make it take longer (assuming equal drop rates, of course).

The only pets I really have at the moment are Herbi, Vorki, Rocky, and Baby Mole. Rocky and Vorki were unintentional pets (wasn't thinking about the drop). While Herbi and Baby Mole were pets I was really working towards and constantly thinking about. The latter caused me to feel burnt out as I was just fixated on just that one grind; I didn't really do anything else. I recently tried grinding for Prince Black Dragon (1341 kc, 250/300 kills per session), but I felt burnt out again and I had to take a break to do other activities in the game. I think it's just important to know when to stop grinding for the pet, do something else, then come back with a fresh mind. Otherwise doing the same pet grind can be tiring and hinder you from doing other activities in the game.

Broo idk if it's about what u said but I started a pure and within 30 mim of playing was on woodcutting training first and got Beaver pet at lvl 37 , thieving pet, Rocky after at lvl 31 and heron pet at 28 fishing and all that after getting 50 on each skill and moving to the other in that order I've told you.. how's that possible? And only got heron pet on main at 43 fishing..

The reason most of the pets you see are low kc is probably that most people don't kill any boss 5k+ times, so most of the pets out there are just lucky drops

I played in 2003-2007 back then I was a member and had the original pet. The hell cat haha Now that mobile is released, I started a new acc cuz I can't get that old one back... Sadly, not a member yet. But I would definitely want a KBD pet! Just cuz it looks awesome and mostly for nostalgic reasons as a veteran player the KBD was always the nr 1 boss of the time.

Been going for giant mole for about 2 weeks now got almost 1k kc eh made about 14m or something idk though havent kept good track wanted to keep all the parts but I've found that it's better to turn ur parts in slowly so if u have 1k claws and 2k skins turn them in 200 at a time because ur luck rolls each time u could get 90 % seed nests or 60% u dont want to turn in all of it and accidentally roll 60% seed nests just a pro tio

I know how heartbreaking a long grind with no results can be guys. I did over 6,000 Corp kills in Rs2 before I got my first Sigil, and it was a Divine!! It's impossible to explain that feeling. i think the fundamental rule is never grind for a pet. Dont expect it, grind for another rare item like a runelongsword which can be 1/10000 and then boom! Youre being followed.. totally unexpected how great is life then :)

Thank you! I never expected to get it, especially with such a low kill count. I was duoing and after I sniped a kill from my buddy I looked down at the ground and thought the core was still spawned (I usually walk the core), then he started freaking out and I then quickly put 2 and 2 together 😂
