What we asked the resort staffs, they say Desaru doesn't rain as much. But better to check online weather forecast to be safe.

I can't find much information about transport within Desaru to get me from point to point and I heard that it is very difficult to get a Grab. Can you share how you do it?

@d8nnii_ hi! We drove around by car and most convenient mode of transport with the help of Google map. There isn't Grab to book but some resorts have mini bus scheduled shuttle services to common attractions. You can ask your hotel reception.

Definitely most convenient staying in Hard Rock in Desaru. Hard Rock has shops, restaurants, bistro and cafe within. Entrance to Adventure park can be bought online or as a hotel package. Checkout Hard Rock website for the hotel stay packages.

The fruit farm is about less than 10min drive away which is nearer to the Desaru toll highway. The activities are booked from the farm itself with packages to choose from. It's worth visiting the fruit farm.

Lobster is best at Lobster Town, which is southern area of Desaru about 30min drive from Hard Rock Resort. There are several restaurants to choose from. You can Google to find out more of these restaurants like super lobster or Jade Garden seafood. The other we went is the Lobster Village, which is at the rural location.

If u stay at hardrock, they have pick up scheduled bus services to several places around Desaru. I drive there, thus was convenient to roam around.
