I bought this game on Ps4 one week ago. Last time I played I was 12 years old and I sucked. This game is so much fun to learn.

Great video dude! My thoughts (mostly aimed at newer players): Modok: AMAZING point character, but has some significant downsides that will take practice and planning to mitigate or you will definitely get bodied. First, his skill floor is quite high. His movement and especially poking and confirming with normals rely heavily on air dash canceling, and if you aren't familiar with that, it's a rough go. Modok's combos can also be difficult to figure out with so many specials. I highly recommend looking up the "SCIENCE!" video Borawserboxer made about Modok, as it demonstrates some important tech you'll need to learn as well as the character's downright ridiculous combo potential. Second, Modok is particularly vulnerable to being rushed down. Standing and crouching L are his only fast grounded normals, and those will often whiff against shorter and/or crouching opponents. Modok should have a fast assist to cover that angle, and... Third, while Dante's Jam Session is an excellent choice for that, I would also strongly recommend pairing him him with Frank West, as his Shopping Cart assist fills the role superbly as well. Even better, Modok is one of the absolute best teammates for Frank, as his charged Hyper Psionic Blaster can easily set up a 100-hit combo for Frank to DHC into and reach level 5 instantly, and Modok's assists also supplement Frank's pressure. This then kinda relegates Modok to a middle role where he is much weaker, but if you succeed in getting Frank to level 5, Modok has definitely pulled his weight for the match. ... Nova: Nova rocks so hard. One of the hardest parts of team-building in this game is when you've found some fun distinct synergy between two characters, but can't find the right third one to round out the team. When this happens, there's a small number of characters who are so flexible they can fit into any role, and Nova is one of them. It is true that Nova's damage output is a little bit low, but his long combos plus his ability to chain multiple level 1 supers generally makes up the difference. He also gets a very significant damage boost from any level of X-factor, so popping it may be worthwhile, especially if you get a happy birthday. ... Magneto: Possibly the strongest of the all-rounder characters. Like Nova, he works well with basically everybody and can complement lots of different compositions. As Muri touched on, Maggie is a very good meter-builder (sometimes called a "battery"), but that isn't exclusive to Phoenix. Many other characters like Vergil and Super Skrull work best when they have some meter to burn, so Magneto is an excellent teammate for them. Like with the Frank West examples both Muri and I have mentioned, sometimes the point character's job is setting up other characters for success, and Magneto is excellent at that. ... Morrigan: yup, Morrigan exists. She's actually pretty dynamic and interesting when played as an aggressive character, but her Soul Fist spam is some of the most anti-fun shit in the game. Only play Morrigan if you don't mind being hated, because you probably will be hated. ... Zero: and here we are at the inevitable. Zero is indeed the best point character in the game, and he was deliberately designed to be exactly that. His mobility, hitboxes, zoning, and mixup potential are all stupid good, and he has been the king of touch-of-death combos since vanilla Marvel 3. There are two caveats here though. Charging Zero's Buster Shot special is absolutely essential to all aspects of his gameplay, but doing so can be very difficult with a traditional controller layout. To that end, you will probably want to remap the buttons to something more conducive to that purpose, or get your hands on an alternative type of controller like an arcade stick. In addition, optimal Zero play has a very high level of execution and will take many hours of practice to get the hang of.

Ahaha! I guessed 1. Zero 2. Magneto 3. Morrigan 4. Nova 5. C. Viper or Wolverine It had to be Zero first of course 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣. After watching this video, yeah Morrigan should be second. She has so many advantages! Magneto too but yeah he should be third. Nova is definitely the low effort high reward character with great mobility. I thought the last one would be a good ground character like Viper or Wolverine whom are both non flight great point characters. Viper is the only non flight character with an eight way air dash right? Great informative video man!

Nice list, here's my personal list for those who don't want to sell their souls to the top tiers: 5- Chris: Chris is a really complete character that has pretty much everything, he's got damage, meter build, good supers, good conversions, he can TOD basically every character in the game even without X-Factor and if you need, he's got a decent assist with his Gun Fire, which makes him a good mid character as well. 4- UÉSCA UÉSCA UÉSCA: UÉSCA is one of the most complete characters in the whole game, he has movement, teleports, a good wall bounce with his Ghost Butterfly and his supers are very good, not only that, he can help pretty much any character in the game with his Samurai Edge Low Shot assist, all of that while being a very easy character to play, even I can play UÉSCA fairly well! 3- Haggar: THE PIPE is a very solid character with an insane damage, great OTGs, a very good assist (Double Lariat) and lots of PIPE, if you have someone to back him up or even extend his combos, he can kill any character without much trouble, since he's a really easy character to play, he can help anyone with his assist and of course, he's got DA PIPE!!! 2- Spider-Man: Well, There's not much to say about Spider-Man. He has a great mobility due to his web swing, he can do loops with the web throw, his supers do tons of damage and his Ultimate Web Throw can kill Dark Phoenix with a single touch. If Spider-Man has the right assists to support him, he can beat any character with no trouble at all. But there's the possibility of Spider-Man being very bad an OneHeroes is just doing miracles with this character. 1- Hulk: He can kill you with his BnBs, no X-Factor, if he's got meter and good assists, he can do it even more easily, the only mistake you can do when choosing Hulk is having 2 of the best anchors in the game (Dante and Deapool) on your team and playing with Hulk as anchor, but I don't think anyone would ever do that... right?

I'm a new player and the one thing I don't like about this game is some of the specials got similar inputs and it's so annoying make me drop combos constantly

Go to control settings, and in the unused rt button (or r2 on ps) add "L+M". This will help you a lot to do things that requires two buttons (the button "ATA" means any of the three normal buttons, so you can cover the "two ata" imput with rt). Like dashes (to do wave dashes), advancing guard, mash some supers to do more damage, and yes...do supers. I also recommend to change the lt button (or l2) to "L+M+H+S" to use x factor easily, cause this button by default activates a crossover combination (all your characters do one super at the same time) and this is pretty easy to do pressing the two button assist anyways. Hope this helps and english ain't my nativa language so hope i got understand.
