I love Mac mineralized skin finish powder sits really nice on the skin I use two different shades of concealer one shade for under eyes another for the face and go in with that powder gives a really quick natural look. Great tutorial!

I love powder foundation, one size is my number 1, I have dry skin. I put halo glow or other glow primers underneath or it’s perfect when I don’t have time for my skincare to dry down so I put the powder straight on. It always gives me a flawless finish that lasts ❤️

I have sensitive skin and prefer powder because of this, so you are so right. I’ll still use a liquid foundation but never more than twice in a row. I love applying my powders with a damp sponge. It makes such a difference!! ❤ (My favourite is Glow Cosmetics- Australian beauty store with self branded products. But my word it’s good.)

Thank you your take on your powder foundation favorites! Until Tarte came out with their powder foundation last year, I almost forgot how much I love powder foundation! I actually used it almost exclusively until I was about 30! It was just so easy. In fact, the first powder foundation I tried and loved was a drug store foundation from L’Oréal. I could wear it without my parents freaking out that I was wearing foundation since they equated foundation with liquid and far more adult than I was as a teenager. Over the years I upgraded to other department brand powder foundations (Lancôme and Chanel…I know that was a quick transition from drug store to high wnd😂) with Chanel becoming my go to. Actually their powder foundation is what made me LOVE the brand. I dove in head first and never looked back. Anyhow, they have a lesser known powder foundation which is hands down my all time favorite, Ultra Le Teint Flawless Finish powder foundation. Like all things Chanel, it’s a beautiful powder and I believe it is refillable although I’ve never found a refill. I know Mac was the bee’s knees but I’ve never been into their products. I know they have their powder foundation which was crazy popular but it wasn’t for me. Now my other favorite powder foundations include Wander Beauty (GORGEOUS), Josie Maran (I think it’s discontinued now but I have several backups!), and Laura Gellar. Now with Laura Gellar her Balance & Brighten was the favorite of the masses but I preferred her Double Take since it could be applied wet or dry and the ability to withstand heat and humidity was unlike anything I’ve used up to this point. I am so happy powder foundation are making a comeback but they never really fell out of favor for many of us makeup lovers❤

Tracie! You had me laughing so hard. It’s true. Our poor parents. We could fool them so easily as long as we just varied slightly from what they had assumed. Not allowed to wear foundation. That appears to just be some sort of a powder so you’re fine. That’s so funny. We were always one step ahead of them. Don’t tell my daughters that. It’s funny that you mention Laura Geller. You know, they just contacted me to try some of the products and I told them to bring it on. I know it’s a fantastic brand and I have never tried it. So I’m hoping to do a brand spotlight when the package arrives.

Since getting off Bare Minerals years ago, the only powder foundation I like is my Fenty. Good to use above the lip line to sharpen it up. Perfect color match. Easy to travel with. I don’t use the sponge. Ick.

I've worn powder fdn day to day for years. Clinique, then Mac. I recently hit pan on my Fenty. As I'm getting older I need more coverage. I found the Bare Minerals at Ulta and love the texture. How would you use it wet without getting a hard pan? That would probably work well for me.( Still masking at work.) Also, my one complaint with the Bare Minerals is that it is only 8grams. Some of the others are twice that for about the same price. It may really cost the same as the Dior. I don't know. But I liked it so I bought it. I'll probably convert to more liquid fdn days next fall/winter. Vanity. Name of the game 😉

The coverage on the MUFE is wonderful. That being said, absolutely. Sometimes we just love the feel of a product like a liquid foundation and, as the saying goes, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Hello Janice. In the tart I am 2N1. In the MUFE I am 2n22. In the bareMinerals I am light 25 neutral in the Fenty I am 210. And in the Dior I am 2.5 neutral.

I'm always invested in powder foundation videos and great one as always Rebecca! I've tried a few and my no1 is bareminerals original. I've never found one with as beautiful a finish a this one. I thought the Fenty was very good but binned it after a while as I kept getting hard pan, very annoying.

I love Powder Foundation ! I've been using it for quite a while. I work in a hospital, and for whatever reason liquid foundations don't last during my entire 8 hour shift. The 2 I use personally are drugstore and I swear by them both. In the summer I opt for the Maybelline Matte & Poreless and in the winter I use the L'Oreal True Match Powder. Another great recommendation is the Covergirl Compact in Normal ( Brown compact ) and their Oil Control version ( Blue Compact ) it's lighter coverage but both work nicely ! I've been tempted to try the MAC Studio Fix and may bite the bullet. However, I appreciate your recommendations. I think that Powder often gets a negative opinion because it can look cakey. Some do give that effect, but most of them can look lovely and last all day/night.

The only drugstore ones I've found here at Shopper's Drug Mart ( Canadian drugstore chain ) was the Maybelline Superstay and L'Oreal Infallable and both of them looked so heavy. It's like I put cake mix on lol. However, the ones I mentioned definitely work well. I've seen people talk about the new one from Maybelline but I dunno about that one.

I watched the first part of this video yesterday, sounds very good dear Rebecca, lots of them! For me most of all the Makeup For Ever foundation, i'll have a look if it's landed here in Europe, thanks so much!!!!! For me? I used powder foundation upto 40, 45 years old i think, i'm now 52 with more dry sensitive skin. Tried the La Mer one, it's ok, not groundbreaking. Ordered the Suqqu, have high hopes, but, you know this cute little hand tie fluffy fur mircale "Kruimeltje" (Little Crumble) takes all our energy, well, in a positive way, i see now, that i am 5 video's behind or something, Rebecca!!! Dearest Rebecca, whilst we're in real time, I will always be in the future whilst you lag behind in the past!😉 As your video dropped, it was 2200hrs Sunday night here. Unless you cross the International Dateline, I'm afraid that I will always be ahead of you. Anyway, I have used a few powdered foundations in the past but they made my skin look flat, despite giving good coverage. I did have better luck with a spray-type, it wasn't Dior but much cheaper! Since moving to the country from a major city, I stopped using foundation so my skin could breathe the fresh alpine air. Yet every now and then I do like to touch up my skin to even it out and have been curious about the new Dior since launching. Now that MUFE has released theirs, I'll be grabbing that one due to being a brand I love and theirs cost AUD$72.00, whereas Dior - whom I also love, is charging AUD$114.00 and $86.00 for the refill. A no brainer really. I have seen many reviews about the Dior Backstage Powder-No-Powder working very well like a powdered foundation but I'm not sure how good the coverage would be. That's still more expensive than MUFE, so it's the winner for me! Good night everyone.😴 (at least I'm hoping for some sleep or will end up counting 🐑).🇦🇺💖🕊

I am so confused because they reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in receiving some products and of course I said yes because I have not tried the brand. And then they were really excited and they told me they would send me tracking once it was sent and I never heard back from them and then a few weeks ago I actually sent them a little note asking what happened and I’m hearing nothing. So I think I fell through the cracks and will need to actually go and just purchase the product. I know that they’re not out to get me. I just looks like I got lost in the shuffle a little bit.
