The answer was not bad, but could indeed have been a bit more comprehensive. (She's a great public speaker, refer to her private interview, but has indicated that on that particular moment tiredness played a bad trick on her). At the same time, the final answers of the winners of 1968, 1984, 1996 and 1998 (all gorgeous and well-deserved winners by the way!) were not comprehensive either... Did she deserve to win? Yes, because, just like the entire top 5, she is gorgeous inside-out and has a bright future ahead of her -with or without Miss Universe crown.

I don’t think it’s really the question. Look at how Miss Philippines Catriona Grey answered the question for the Miss World Pageant. The question was not that great, but she took the opportunity to answer very very well that it left everyone stunned. The answer was that powerful.

Just in the us alone you could talk about educator shortage, gun violence, abortion rights, police brutality, the pandemic, potential war with Russia, border crisis, mass shootings. And that’s coming from a 1st world country that’s very privileged. I’m sure curaçao has way more pressing issues than what I even listed for the US and they would all be better answers than bullying. She has the easiest question all 5 and had the worst answers of all too.

@@AC-ie5fjwell yeah she could but with that kind of pressure she couldn't,even Venezuela almost didn't make the top 3. she lost the connection of how she said it and could've been more detailed and even if Curaçao's answer would be as detailed as Puerto Rico she still won't make the cut.Curacao's answer was too political so she did not quite expect that because she was joining a prestigious pageant not a presidential debate BUT it was NOT common its was NOT DETAILED THOUGH,what if you'll join that pageant with that kind of pressure,even Dominican Republic who has the best answer in the 5 didn't actually answered the 2nd question which is "what should we done about it?"
