Anyone who tells you to "add breathiness" is sus, especially if you are phonating simultaneously. Glottal compression is already controversial, and needs to be built up over 7+ months of slowly developing the grit before you can "safely" scream with it, not a couple months to reach scream status then blowing out air to make it voiceless. There's a reason SING & SCREAM is banned from r/Screaming's discord server, which has teachers that know exactly what they are doing. Never trust that man with your time or money, he will jip you hard.

Back in my day we just fucked our vocal chords up and were in pain until we finally figured out what works. People have it much easier today with all the tutorials. My first vocal "coach" for black and death metal just said, "you have to go through a lot of pain and fuck your voice up until you can do it consistently without pain." Basically just said, "You know the sound you want now figure it out and keep doing it even if it hurts." You have put the techniques I've been trying to stick to over the past 22 years of screaming into words and it's awesome.

I've been practicing for like 2-3 years now and one problem kept going til today... I have problems in staying hydrated. Now that my entire free time is about getting ready to warm up, I inhale a big bottle of water at work, maybe drinkin the rest at home and making a pot of tea and something to eat while watching YT videos. It's also important to eat healthy because if your stomach hurts you won't be in the best condition to scream

drink water through out the day to stay hydrated. One time I did practice for 30 min before I needed water o-o

I am not professional but to my experience and understanding all you need is laptop camera in the beginning. With it you can record at least two recordings at the same time.

#4 is my worst adversary. I've spend 14 years trying to learn fry and no amount of guides or tips has led me anywhere besides extensive vocal damage. Essentially every single video on the subject equates to bad intel for me.

I'm gonna be honest I learned how to scream primarily listing to my favirote bands sing, and honestly imtatienting them, and was able to crack my vocal cords really well so now allot of the white guys are like what the hell?
