As I get older, I feel I'm the type that functions best single.

Good advice. I'm in that process now. At 61, it's not as easy as it once was.

I had a child when I was young, and happy that I did. Then ended up divorced soon after that. Travelled around a lot and had a girlfriend here and there and spent time in France, Japan and Korea where they lived. Then in my mid 40's I got busy making money for 10 years and made some good money. Now at 60, I'm in a place that I didn't really see coming... that is to be 60, in fairly good shape, and not to be digging the women around age 60, but also to be quite well off financially. I don't regret my bohemian past, but do wonder on the best path going forward. After all, 60 is not ancient, but it ain't young.

Good pointers. I’ve been single for too long, about 15 years. I went overboard enjoying my ‘alone time’. I am in my mid 50s now, feeling so freakin lonely and struggling to get back into a relationship.

Appreciate the candor, I often feel like the only one! Ended my last relationship when I turned 30, This year I turned 40 and haven’t dated much at all in the past 10 years, let alone a relationship. Loved having that decade to myself but time flies!!

Men have figured out that it’s not worth the heartbreak, the efforts, the time wasted, the money lost, the lies, the cheating, the backwards logic, the high body count, paternity fraud and the suffering created by dealing with the modern wmn. False allegations and wrongful imprisonments are not something men wanna deal with so the logical choice has been to leave modern wmn to their own devices away from us. It’s a peaceful life why would you sacrifice that?

Well I'm 42 and even tho yes I'm kinda lonely I really like being single. I haven't dated in about 6 years. I also have social anxiety so it's really hard to meet new people. There is 1 girl I'd like to ask out but I can't get myself to do it. And if she said yes, I'd be happy for a bit but then terrified I'd actually have to go on a date lol. Life is hard!

We are surrounded by the opposite sex all day long. The street, supermarket, mall, traffic, Dr's office, your apartment building & work events, etc. Be aware of your posture, Make eye contact and Say Hello,.. or throw out a quick compliment. Repetition Brings Results. It works 👍

In today's world and considering the current state of womanhood, why would any man, eligible or otherwise, want to settle down......ever? Seriously ladies, what positives do you bring to the party, apart from the obvious which can be obtained without commitment? The point is, unless you're lucky enough to find one of those rare unicorns, the negatives vastly outweigh the positives, so why bother? You made it this way. Basically in the West, little by little, men and women are becoming two separate competing species rather than two different but equally important halves of the same species.
@bellakim94042 жыл бұрын
@@oneronin6186 I understand what you're saying. & The feelings you expressed could go both ways too. We have all been through and witnessed the positives & negatives in relationships. There is one thing I know to be true., & that is to give everyone an equal chance to add to & make a difference in your life. You sound smart enough to walk away from the people who do not value you. Self respect and emotional intelligence is the foundation to succeeding in Life. You've figured that out, yet please have an open mind to allow your heart to love and grow too. There are people who put self respect first like you and would be a great partner too. The needle in the haystack does exist.

@@bellakim9404 There is no "needle in a haystack" Disney does a good job of selling the fairytale though. False allegations and wrongful imprisonments are not something men want to deal with so the logical choice has been to leave modern wmn to their own devices away from us true men.
