The most I mustered out in my recent Legendary hunt was smacking my desk a few times when my second Shiny Regirock appeared (after the first one Struggled to death lol). Sometimes I wish I had more outrageous reactions because they're still funny even when you're alone, but I guess I'm just used to the rush at this point. 😂

I also got 2 consecutive shinies at the very beginning of my playthough. Wanted a shiny Vulpix, as soon as i got to 31 catch combo a shiny psyduck just casually walked up to me... that was my first ever shiny, then started the catch combo again and as soon as i got to 31 a shiny vulix spawned. Never since then had i such luck, wanted to get a shiny Ghastly but eventually i ran out of patience after sitting there for almost an entire day. Shiny hunting is not for me but i gotta say the reaction it can produce is special.

Now that we know the real way of shiny hunting is by keeping the combo going, it makes perfect sense why a lot of shiny hunts before took so long, like the 35 hours for Vulpix. Luckily, I never had that trouble because I always kept my combo going from the very start. The main reason is that I want tons of candy to max out my shinies. The second reason is that I found waiting or resetting to be a lot more boring than continuing on catching.

it kinda breaks your chain so you need to redo the chain, also if you are looking for a competitive one you might get the worst shiny. Example: I have been hunting for shiny gastly for 3 weeks now, I got bored and then go outsite lavander town to walk arround the map, I got a timid magikarp shiny wich means less attack and more speed .... by stats and moves gyarados can learn this is posibly the worst nature for him, but the best for gastly, you can manipulate this with the "lady nature" npc anyways I didnt care and got the magikarp but he is totally crap, bad Iv's and worst nature... but hey ... its red :'(

luis vargas cause sometimes they have a catch combo of 31, which means it will get broken when they catch another pokemon other than the one they are hunting. Then they will have to build another catch combo.
