As a Bears fan and someone who bought a bunch of Justin Fields cards, I don't think his cards will ever see the value they once had. I think (hopeful) Bears fans (myself included) thought Fields was going to be the first great Bears QB, thus I think folks were overspending on his cards. The "fire sale" Andy mentioned is probably Bears fans dumping their Fields cards to get ready for Caleb Williams cards. Potentially some money to made by flipping Fields cards, but likely small margins.

Agreed on people over spending but thats every single QB. People were drooling over Fields, Mac Jones and Trey Lance. The only one who showed any promise was Fields at times. Jones had a decent rookie year but his stats and film really don't back up what people were paying for his cards.

people forgetting how good hendon hooker was when he was healthy, heisman front runner over bryce and stroud and would have potentially been the top pick if not injured. He also landed in a stacked situation if goff ever goes down

Problem with Hooker is that he’s also going to be 27 this season and most likely won’t even see the field anytime soon. Unless a team trades, he wouldn’t potentially see the field until 30.

Value QB buys: Tua- contract incoming and cheap for passing leader Russell Wilson- cheapest he has been in years and PIT is solid Sam Howell- Seattle traded some decent draft capital to get him and he would go off with those weapons if he gets a shot Joe Flacco- can AR15 stay healthy? If not Flacco looked good last year and has a successful career to fall back on so he won't go to zero Flyer picks: Drew Lock with Jones about done in NY, Mason Rudolph if Levis struggles Rudolph showed growth and could get some late season starts/a spike. Good content 👍🏽

Feel like Fields could be another Baker Mayfield situation. Not so well performance with drafted teams, becomes a free agent and signs for cheap and has a great season. So even if he doesnt start for Pitt, he will most likely get another opportunity some where else the year after.

Why? He’s old could get hurt and guys b4 getting paid that much and not performing still can get benched that $$$ means nothing. Look at Flacco guy was highest paid then got injured and he was out like a fart in the wind. Goff is super over rated 30 tds 12 interceptions with a 90 passing rating 90 not bad but I truly think he’s over rated and they money paid him is a joke

Injuries happen. Remember, these are back ups. All it takes is someone to get hurt, these back up QBs to start a few games and you absolutely cash in. These arent long term holds. Tyson Bagent's cards sold for a good chunk last year even though people knew that he wouldn't take the job from Fields. Same happened with a few others.

I like your top 5 outside of Justin Fields. Some of his former bears coaches have said concerning things about him, things like that he was hard to watch and his eyes are all over the place. Some of his teammates have said also that he didnt like talking advice from the veteran qbs in the bears qb room, and that might be the same way with Russell Wilson this upcoming year, so I think it’ll be hard for him to learn and get better if he continues to act that way. But I do like the other qbs you mentioned and I think they all have good potential

Definitely a concern. Kyler Murray is the only QB who has been a top 10 fantasy QB while also having an attitude problem. There have been rumors about Lamar and Hurts but quite a bit less. Caleb Williams investors are going to be severely disappointed before long.

I think the media trys to take things out of context and create drama with Hurts and Jackson just since they’re big name qbs, but I honestly think they both have good additudes, they just have different personalities than what the typical qb has. Advice from anyone on the bears to fields is laughable. They gave him no help or support. Glad he is out of there before a massive injury. Advice from “veteran” bears qbs had me cracking up. Like they know anything.
