It is hard to believe that Claire Bowen had never sung into a microphone before her first day on the set of Nashville. "This Is My Song" is one her most confident, best performances of the whole show! I also wish Aubrey Peebles had more opportunities to perform on the show.

I agree with you about Season 3 being the best season in terms of music (and in terms of storyline for me). My top 5: 1. "Blind" by Layla, loved the lyrics and since that song I started liking Layla's character. 2. "Surrender" by Rayna and Deacon, such a beautiful duet, gorgeous lyrics, the definition of love. 3. "Borrow my heart"by The Triple X, best group song, the three of them can make really good music. 4. "If I drink this beer" by Luke, best Luke song, fits perfectly the story and the beat is dope. 5. "I can't help my heart", by Luke and Sadie, beautiful song and this two characters gave the deep the song needed

I was really thinking about putting "Blind" first but I just loved "The Rivers Between Us" Such a beautiful song and performance. Yeah all those songs are great and I can't complain with any of them. Season 3 was just awesome music wise. Hoping Season 4 is going to be as good although hasn't been that great so far in terms of the music.
