After some events and several legendaries items, you will thanks for te Excavator amor. 🤣 Mine is a full set of wepond reduction weight. I used more that PA, than the overeaters hell cat or even my T-65 wepond reduction set. Those 100 extra pounds helps plenty.

I use a set of X-01 with Vanguard’s and weapon reduction weight, I was lucky and have a mixed bag on the third stars for all the +25 resistances 😊 Very solid tank set overall pair that with a 50. Vamp/Explo and I’m a tank god. Pretty much what ever set of PA you can roll to be uniform is best imo, Less about what set more about what legendary effects you can get…😅

i think the new union power armor is definitely overlooked, yeah it is a huge grind and the ER and RR are one of the worst but i just thought itd be a nice honorable mention seen as it can have a jet pack, is only 25 carry weight below excavator and has a nice 485 DR

Only sets you really need is excavator and Ultra. Both have purpose farming/combat.

Hell Yhea, just get a full set of overeaters for full health and or a full set of bolstering for bloodied. Also it’s my favorite power armor and I’m still using a full set of t51 on my shotgunner

I have been using a Overeaters T-60 set that has the BOS Elder paint on it. I know that the other sets have better stats but I can already stand in front of Earl or the Scorched Queen and tank damage. What's the point of grinding for the "better" set's of power armor?

For a long time I used a heavily mismatched X0-1 set it was great but nowhere near optimized. A friend of mine had an oopsie and scripped part of his Ultracite set so I gave him my X0-1 as a replacement.... because I had just rolled up my 4th vanguard Hellcat piece. All 4 limbs vanguard, auto stim torso, 2x weap weight, all +25s, and a few other goodies. Just under 700 dr [698] and I am loving it. Still space to optimize but omg its like I'm wearing a whole building as armor lmao

I'm trying to roll wwr and some good pieces..On my t65 and Strangler heart . So that I can finally use them! My t60 I loved too but Love my Exc pa because I've rolled some decent pieces and I love my Wwr/ap refresh pieces.. Have a few assorted like Aristocrat's, Overeaters, Mutant's, Mutant Slayer's, Troubleshooter's, Zealot's. All have Wwr and varied effects.. I'll eventually work on my Hellcat pa too.

I am, so Far, happy with My Union power armor modified with Calibrated shocks. It can carry almost as much as the Excavator but with better stats. The main downside is all the mods are purchased with stamps earned from The Pitt expansion, which means a lot of grinding in the Pitt

i do like the stats of the T65 but, the Hellcat sets 2% ballistic damage reduction for each piece minus the helmet and overeaters legendary effect is in MY opinion the best set of power armor for tankiness because of how armor works in fallout

Good points, but objectively it's: Pvp: Strangler Pve: Excavator Mix: t65. My personal top 5 would be 5. Hellcat 4. union 3. Excavator 2. T65 1. Strangler You don't need to be all that tanky for pve, only times tankiness is really important is vs earl or daily ops. Pvp you need to be able to do damage and tank, and strangler is the best without a doubt for that. Excavator and union are basically tied for me.

@@skyz6789 for pve, there isn't enough strong enemies in the game to warrant the need to be super tanky. In pvp however, tankiness matters alot and so does damage, so strangler with it's extra damage and decent resistances is great.

When I did eviction notice, I found the hellcat torso on the ground, not in a drop bag or anything, just laying on the ground!!!!!! And I even somehow found out that somebody was selling the X -01 PA for 6k caps. But overall I love the T- series not just because it looks good, but that its a huge reference to the fallout series.

I have a set of t60 buy with t51 legs because i literally server hopped 5 times and went to EVERY power armor spawn and haven't found any t60 legs

It is the best PA in the game right now if you ask me, using the union PA completly takes away the need for the legendary perk "funky duds" and you can use something else wich is a huge bonus and then the carry weight to top it off. I have all PA's in the game but the Union is my daily driver and on special occations i will switch to Helllcat when i need xtra ballistic protection.

Sorry the union PA pretty much outmatches x01 and would push it out of this listing in my opinion. its stats are fairly decent but it also has when full set acquired. 75 additional carry weight and poison resistance.
