3 frames by head, none by Wilson, what a joke (I’m a Yonex player)! Either Wilson Shift, Clash or Ultra should be considered for the top five! Frames for everyone should be 99 or 100 inch. Gravity is not for everyone, only for those with a full swing!
@servingaces
@servingaces Жыл бұрын
There is a reason why I did no include wilson rackets. The shift is too stiff and not good in my opinion. At least the none pro. The clash could be one.true. But as I did not test them yet I could not include this one. The ultra is just too powerful to be used by a lot of players. The gravity mp is relatively easy to use and forgiving. Head also has the most rackets of every brand outthere and has the most versatile rackets sortiment on the market. In my opinion of course 😊

The only wilson racket I would maybe include now would be the Blade 16x19 👍

@@servingaces Over 90% of non-professional ATP players would play better with 100 inch rackets. It is slightly misleading that all bloggers like 95 to 98 racquets, as they are all in the small 10% of non-professional tennis users they cater to.

Where did you put weight on the Extreme Tour? I like it overall, but it‘s difficult to use at the net compared to the Blade for example.
@servingaces
@servingaces 9 ай бұрын
a few grams on 3 and 9 to improve stability and a few grams on 12 to up the swingweight and balance more towards the head. How much? I cannot really answer. You have to experiment

hey there, I am 32 years old, male and i am playing for like 1,5 years once a week. I have never played with a trainer, all taught by myself. i would consider myself as a 2.5 - 3.0 player. I recently bought a head extreme MP. Was it a good choice? Would the tour have been better for me? I thought the tour is for better players and the mp for more beginner like? Greets
@servingaces
@servingaces Жыл бұрын
Hey marius the extreme mp is surely a good choice. There are so many rackets you also could use. But you made nothing wrong here. The tour is maybe something in two-three years 👍 then you can try it again.

one more question: The extreme I bought was strung with lynx tour 22/21kg The recommended tension is 24-28kg I need a new string now I bought the lynx tour again but I’m not sure how much tension i should do. Isn’t 22/21 very light when the recommendation begins at 24kg? But I’ve heard beginners should go with a lighter tension cause they can’t generate good power with strikes Also the lynx tour is a not very powerful string Maybe go with 24/23? (So I’m at least a little bit in the recommendation?) What would u recommend ? thanks Marius
