Nice video on Cabo. My wife and I have been traveling there, every year, for the past 20 years! We love it. We have a trip planned this year for the whole month of December. Whales are there from December to March. I have taken some awesome pictures of them breaching. Also, a few hundred whale tails. Can't wait to go!!!

I just went on September for my 30th bday and it was amazing , we stayed right in Cabo’s so we were walking distance from marina and all the clubs . I got to do camel riding , horse riding , atvs, sunset cruise and snorkeling cruise , I went to La Paz to balandras and Todos Santos too but didn’t know about the turtles :( .

I just retired from a Disney cruise, we went to cabo on wed and it was just beautiful, we did the bottomless boat adventure, got dropped of on a beach for 29 min to swim, then went on a dolphin adventure, we just loved it and hope to return someday..

I have a question about the cactus ATV tour. I'm taking it in April and I'm wondering if they give you the GoPros to record the trip and you pay them for the video or was that your own GoPro?

I used my own GoPro but I believe they can also rent out gopros... but I’m really not sure. I didn’t think to ask because I already had my own. But they have mounts on the helmet already so I’m assuming they lend out gopros. Sorry I can’t help more!!

Just the cheapest GoPro available! Hah. It was an entry level GoPro from a couple years ago for $120. I believe the new entry level ones that just came out this year are $150, but don’t quote me on that. You definitely should record! You’ll want to look back on it. Lots to see under the waves.

La Paz, north of Cabo, is a great spot to take live aboard charter boat trips. I took a week long dive trip which explored some of the islands in the Sea of Cortez. Diving with the hammerhead sharks was super exciting too, they're such prehistoric creatures. And the sea lions were great fun to scuba with too. I read Steinbecks The Log from the Sea of Cortez book while on the trip too.

Ah the details, there we were, waves breaking over the bow... The hammerheads are known to frequent sea mounts in the area and that's where the charter boats will drop you off. The water's quite deep so you just hang out and wait for them to appear - hopefully. They're quite skittish and generally don't come near divers, one's we saw were some distance away. But quite exciting to see. No cage needed.

We snorkeled around Pelican Rock, jumped off of it also. What a rush that was. Did a day trip to Toto’s Santos and of course went after that marlin.

Cactus Tours: 45 ride from Cabo to Cactus: Vehicles are fine, helmets are crap , eye goggles are crap. My helmet visor was so scratched up, I couldn't see through it. The terrain was so rough, the visor wouldn't stay up. I'm an experienced off roader via dirt bikes and four wheelers. This is a run and gun go fast tour and not for the timid or inexperienced or the careful. 50mph for 2hrs with no 'banos" . However, at the end of your ride and after you turn in your stuff, tequila shots may make you forget the ride. I prefer the sand hills of Kermit TX or Little Sahara in Oklahoma.

How do you know if the tour excursions are safe? I am going this February and everyone is telling me horror stories because of the crime. Would you recommend a trip there for kids?

+Autumn V yes I would recommend the trip for kids!! Most of the people I saw there were families. Of course with any destination you should always watch your kids and be mindful of where they are and who they are talking to. No matter where. But Cabo is not a specifically dangerous place for families. It's relatively safe and most everyone is welcoming. The kids will have a blast there!

You did not come close to the top 5 things to do in Cabo. I have been going to Cabo for 19 years and have learned a little about the things to do there. Cabo is famous for deep sea fishing. Getting hooked up with a blue marlin is the thrill of a lifetime. Try the ZIP line. Just a day at the beach at Biligans is nice.

Im not really sure. From what I’ve heard it’s pretty much year round, what changes is the temperature in the water and the amount you might see. Because the turtles are part of a conservation effort, there are lots of turtles!

Between November to March are the best season to go see whales and also fishing marlins plus weather is not as hot during winter (minimums of 70 at night 😂😅)
