I absolutely love 2:04. That potentially ageless scene was the 1st scene I viewed after a trip covering 1,148 miles from Ohio to Daytona. As an artist, I drew (in full color) many scenes from Daytona, Volusia Co., and Adam's mark. Also including Ponce DeLeon inlet's lighthouse.

Daytona Beach has been my home away from home since I was 8...I'm 50 now..and I appreciate more now than then.. I can't wait to get to the grande on July 4 weekend.

I thought Joe’s Crab Shack was just in Louisville….must be a chain of them. No sling shot for me either 😳 Mmmmm chocolate factory 😋 love that old house! That sure is a tall lighthouse to climb up!!! Beautiful view!

lol... no, it's a chain! :) We have a few of them in Orlando, too! Yes, the old house was really cool. Probably one of my favorite stops. I wish we could have recorded the inside! I loved the ghost stories our guide told us. They said that they host a ghost hunting event in October and invited us back! lol.

My wife and I are booking a trip to Daytona Beach in 2023. Can you give us 3-5 restaurants suggestions? Places where the locals go? We love, love love seafood, but sorry, we're not fans of the chain Joe's Crab Shack. Also, can you tour Bethune-Cookman University? As a HBCU graduate I'm curious to see the campus.

Not sure about the tours, but Bethune Grill has some of the best chicken in town! It's not in the nicest part of town, and they're ridiculously busy on the weekends.

Visited Daytona Memorial Day weekend. Had a blast! Hulls Seafood Restaurant was my favorite!!!! Hope to return to Florida next year.

Never seen the ocean, are there lots of sea life you can see while snorkeling?

Sometimes! Daytona is a pretty busy beach, so you might not get as much sea life, but I’ve seen plenty of dolphins and fish!

There are areas just south of Daytona Beach that have better snorkeling. Also, the springs nearby would have easier to see wildlife.

I have a few years ago! I've been contemplating doing a video on it! I think it is worth it if you get the Groupon. Its more of a historical tour of the history of chocolate. So, if you want to learn the history of chocolate, it's a great tour. They also have a lot of very unique chocolates in the store.

my brother paid to see the light house a couple weeks ago, as he was about to start climbing up it they shut it down because of supposedly bad weather. They also refused to give my brother his money back. What a rip-off! My brother said the bad weather never did do anything, but they didn't ever open it back up.

Hi billy bob! I am so sorry to hear about what happened to your brother at the lighthouse, especially since it doesn't sound that there weren't any bad weather that happened. That's really sad. I really loved the lighthouse while I was there, even though I felt like I was about to die after climbing all those steps! LOL Are you planning a trip to Daytona?

@@ChrissaTravels same thing happened to me a few years ago at the Grand Canyon. I paid to go on the sky walk, but they closed it due to bad weather. And again the lightning was miles away from the walk way & only lasted a few minutes. I was on a tour from Vegas & couldn't wait for them to reopen it. Luckily I did get my money back that time. I did go back a couple years later & drove from Vegas, so I had more time & finally did get to walk on the sky walk.

@@billybob-ro6qf I have always wanted to go on the sky walk! When I visited the Grand Canyon, it was from the south side, so I missed out on the sky walk. I have always been meaning to go back do that. Hopefully, I'll get a chance next year!

@@ChrissaTravels I hope you get your chance. I also went on a sky walk in Canada in Jasper National park which is even larger & more beautiful than the one in the Grand Canyon. I saw some goats close to the sky walk walking along the cliffs it was awesome. I wish I could go back out west or back to Canada, but with Covid around its very hard to do anything now. Very few rental cars available & air lines make you show proof of getting the vaccine which I don't want to get because I don't think its safe & hate it trying to be forced on everyone. Same with Cruise ships. So this year I just went with my brother in July to Tennessee on his truck to Pigeon Forge, & I'm going back again in Oct. to see a few more attractions I didn't get to do in July. The Smokey Mountains are beautiful too, but ever since I saw the huge Rocky Mountains out west the Smokies just don't really do it for me anymore LOL. Nice to look at, but so much smaller than the Rockies.
