Howdy Marc- those are good tips for fishing out of a canoe. We don’t have the many beautiful lakes that you enjoy. The lakes we have are created water shed lakes. Such beautiful scenery up there. Take care and God bless

Nicely covered Marc and loved the bonus tip. Riley was really savouring the flavour of the rawhide and smart enough not to swallow it. Hopefully wont have to wait too long for hardwater fishing with really short rods:)

Yes friend, there is no doubt that going fishing is not easy and sometimes you get into trouble. Fishing from the shore in a large boat is very different from fishing in a small canoe. I have never done it but that's how it should be. Carrying a rod with a very long rod is a real problem when trying to catch the fish. Thank you my friend. BLESSINGS ALWAYS.

Good tips, Marc. I especially like the tip for placing the paddle inside the canoe when a fish strikes. Losing the paddle isn't an option and this is a great tip. The others are very good too. The rod holder keeps the rod safe and frees up you hands. I've used rod holders for salmon fishing in the ocean and they are a must.
