nice video. very professional. How do you install an expansion joint when you need to maintain a continuous look across a a greater than 8 ft surface?

He said 'movement' joint. Just keep movement joints free from grout every 8 ft. and use a matching silicone caulk. His corner movement joints look like about 1/16", so it 'Looks Nice' but Custom probable specs out 1/4" movement caulk joints 'Everywhere' if you want a warranty.

Tip #6, NEVER install glass tiles in a shower door opening where you plan to install any type of frameless heavy glass enclosure. The glass tiles are NOT suitable as a material base for frameless glass installations and will crack and break due to the torque exerted on the baseplates of the hinges and clamps. . Use a ceramic or porcelain tile for any surface that is to be mounted to.

Excellent video, nicely explained. I want to buy your product. I previously used MAPEI thinset mortar and grout for an RV bath mosaic floor install. I did it myself. Held up well. I now want to tile the small shower stall of an RV, It moves, so thinset and grout must be flexible. I will use your thinset product and Polymer. How do I mount the mosaic to wall? Someone had done it professionally in an RV. They used some sort of fiberglass mesh (?) or something to hold it up firmly on the walls. It also has to be moisture proof, so needs a water barrier skin. Principal problem is the RV movement when driving. Please share any tips for mounting mosaic tiles in a moving van, on vertical walls, moisture proof, and good adhesion to surface substrate. Many thanks!

Meh, as long as you use the right thin set, it's not really any different than ceramic- there are crazy amounts of standards for everything and the most important ones are always followed by pros, but everything else is to protect the manufacturers
