Sudharshan T understand the road tax we are paying is for the roads built and maintained by government. But the Highways are outsourced to other famous contractors by auction process and government gives the permission for the tenderer to collect toll fees from the public. Some says that This is a huge failure of government for not building the Highways on its own, but you know the Government Scenario in India and how government employees work. So this is the main reason why the building of Highways has been our sourced and the Toll fees are being collected every day by the Contractor to collect his money back which he invested while building Highways. And yes they will get some percentage of funds from government. They make a huge profit out of it and this kind of Contracts will be particular for 10 years or 5 years like that. Sorry if I made you feel bad. Thanks!

I hope you have an idea what Government will share with public and what it will not share. It's all Corruption and Racism(Caste Politics) in India. I will say it doesn't matter who are ruling or who are in the Government untill and unless we work hard for ourselves.
