Nope he's not. Admittedly it's confusing because he shoots these green clouds but he doesn't actually do toxic damage. He's more like the Alien Flower in that those clouds linger and do damage over time if the target stands in it.

I agree with this list an the reason people don't like toxic citron is because he can't get kills fast, and I found out he acts more of a support class. Basically you help the stronger classes by dealing damage to the grouped zombies or a single zombies so the zombie is an easier target for the team

the thing that I like about toxic brains meter is if you get in a group of plants his meter fills fast if you go into overload and you are low health an extra 100 given by overload helps if plants grouped or around you are not dead then speed boost and ×3 damage works extremely effectivley

This my top 5, in my opinion: 5. Druid Rose I would expect this to be unexpected by others (And that is okay). Druid Rose is an excellent character when you actually have the damage and homing upgrade. Her bullets (or thistles, whatever it's called) travel at a pretty slow speed, but the homing makes up for it. I find her very underrated. Her toxic damage is not too bad. It actually can help get vanquished. Overall, I find he pretty underrated and more powerful than what others think. 4. Toxic Citron I really love this character and what he can do. I am personally fond of every damage upgrade for everybody (Except for Party Brainz), and Toxic Citron is no different. He did get a nerf in an update. The damage from long-range shots can only do 2 damage instead of 5. Since he can do toxic damage when he touches enemies, his close-range attacks are powerful. Overall, I personally love this Citron, but not my favorite toxic character. 3. Captain Squawk DON"T ANYBODY DARE SAY THAT I AM AN IDIOT FOR THIS. Captain Squawk is very similar to Iron Citron when you think about it. He is an excellent character when you get his reload upgrade. He does an insanely high amount of damage when you use his Gull Blaster. 46 damage with a reload upgrade is basically insane. If you add the Toxic damage he can do, he can take out Sunflowers and Roses with at least 2 shots. I'm not a fan of his Flem Thrower, but I don't use it as much. Overall, he is a great character and if anybody thinks he is one of the worst characters ever, go die in a hole. 2. Toxic Brainz Toxic Brainz is this high because of the way you can get his legendary mode. If you only have to punch the plants, then getting to Toxic Overload is quite easy. When in Toxic Overload, he can destroy everybody. In July 2018 patch, he did get a slight nerf and buff, but it did not stop me from destroying people. He is my favorite Super Brainz character. I don't have a lot to say about him. His normal damage is fine, whether it is the fists or the beam. Overall, he is an insane character when in Toxic Overload. 1. Toxic Peashooter This is not a question. He does a high amount of damage with a great rate of fire, and when his toxic aura is added, you can kill groups of enemies in a manner of seconds. He was an insane character in GW1, and he is still awesome in GW2. If you combine his primary weapon with his abilities, you will be unstoppable. Toxic Pea is the best toxic character, and it's not even close. Worst: Toxic Chomper Overrated: Dr. Toxic Underrated: Druid Rose

Here are some things about these characters though and others, Sanitation Expert definitely got a nerf he only does 35 while in GW1 he did 40. A lot of ppl mistaken the Park Ranger for being the Toxic variant of the Foot Soldier but hes not (hes the lingering shot variant like the Alien Flower) also I dont have trouble getting into Toxic Overload in multiplayer I just punch the plants to death and reach fill the meter 3 times on average every single game I rarely use the beam since its really weak.
