1. Devkund Waterfall
This waterfall is about 170km from Mumbai. The journey to the base village is about 6 hours long. It can be easily accessed through Mumbai Pune Expressway. The height of devkund waterfall is 2700ft. Devkund is also known as “Bathing pond of Gods”.
2. Pandavkada Falls
Pandavkada falls is about 351ft tall waterfall near Mumbai. It takes around 3 hours to reach from Mumbai. It is a plunge type waterfall that flows through the mountains of the Western Ghats of Mumbai.
3. Kataldhar Waterfall
Kataldhar is located in Ulhas valley near Lonavala on the route towards Udhewadi village base for Rajmachi Fort. This waterfall is not so famous because reaching the valley is somewhat difficult and requires basic trekking experience. The height of Kataldhar waterfall is about 450ft.
4. Chinchoti Waterfall
Chinchoti waterfall is located on Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway, between Juchandra Village and Vasai. You will have to cross the Kaman village to reach this waterfall. This waterfall comes alive during the monsoon season. This is one of the favourite spots for one day picnic and trekking around Mumbai and Thane.
5. Bedgaon Waterfall
Bedgaon waterfall also known as Secret waterfall located near Bedgaon village on the Tahmini ghat road and is very close to Devkund. Over you can do various activities like cliff jumping, nature slide and pool. But to get access to this waterfall you have to pay a nominal charge of Rs.300/- which will provide you with a life jacket and a route to the waterfall with expertise.
