I swear to god, I wanted to replay Saints Row Third, I always played on easy difficulty and thought maybe advance difficulty to make it interesting, Then because of that Fucken mission, Guardian Angel, I started questioning if I could do it, because Guardian Angel is so damn hard I failed it many times on easy difficulty and made me partially hate Kinzie, and the fact that it has no save points goddammit

I am extremely surprised that the Telekinesis Rifts from Saints Row IV weren’t on the list. They take FOREVER to finish and aren’t the easiest to get gold medals on. God, I hate those things with a passion.

I also find it weird that in some cases you had to rappel a bit and stick to a building during the sniping part. Judging by the distance of the enemies you would have zero issue just firing from the roof and even have more cover that way.

With Hitman in the first game, I appreciated the detail it had. Some targets wouldn't be found in the respective locations all the time and some would only come out during certain moments of the day, giving the city that feeling of being alive which would be greatly improved in SR2. However, it was a chore just to search for them and to have the appropriate weapon to kill them with. I mean, why was that last thing necessary. That being said, I prefer SR2's version of Hitman.

Super easy once you learn to go to the area indicated to start the activity then hurrying to the nearest highway. There's rarely never any cars there and the big rigs and buses will have you racking up the money so fast you'll hit the goal before you even notice it. Edit: also once you rag doll in adrenaline mode and get launched try to fall back towards the big trucks or make yourself into a volleyball and get hot by a car in the other direction. Just be careful not to fall off elevated highways.

Talon Games the one I have trouble is when you have to blow up cars, nothing fucking spawns for me, than in insurance fraud, they spawn but they avoid you, but in normal play they drive over you with no hesitation

@@elderrusty541 mayhem? Or demo Derby I feel like I'm acting like a know it all and I don't mean to. I just struggled with those activities as well until I learned in mayhem that the cars didn't give you the money like you needed but you're given the impression the bigger the better. And it's actually the opposite, small things that are gathered together so that you could destroy back to back like fences and the machines in the casino worked best in giving you combos plus the police didn't bother me while I was inside. Certain areas are crap for the higher levels so restarting until I got to the college, marina, and Chinatown helped me. Demo Derby I played like fight club.

Trafficking at hard difficulty in SR3 is the worst one, so slow, tedious, boring, and unfairly done, because if you completed all deals, you can be killed easily by one of those big guys, so silly done

I disagree with this list. I think the humour of Tiger Escort far outweighs the annoyingness of it. I never dread playing that mission because of it's context. Platforming rift is boring, agree. If Guardian Angel takes you "50 tries to finish it" you're simply not playing it properly. Guardian Angel may sometimes on occasion be difficult but I've never had to do it more than twice to complete. It's also not as bad as some would say, it's enjoyable at least. Hitman missions can be annoying but as you said I feel like it redeemed itself after 1. And M.O.M is annoying but I definitely wouldn't rank it as number 1 worst. I definitely remember being disappointed by it though as SERC was great.

I think the trouble with Guardian Angel is it's overly reliant on protecting the A.I-obviously because it's called Guardian Angel, but the A.I should be equipped to protect itself enough, so you could just be backup rather than responsible for all the work. Tiger Escort has a bit of humor yes but they could've changed up the animals at least.

I never understood people complaining about difficulty of guardian angel. Any footage I've seen of it has always been someone shooting a rocket straight at the car theyre supposed to protect or just in front of the car as if thwyre expecting the rocket to instantly hit the target before the car youre protecting gets there Like you do realise you don't have to shoot the car as soon as it appears on screen. They very quickly get far enough away from the car youre protecting so you have plenty of space to shoot them.

Try using the low gravity cheat and play Insurance Fraud. Trust me it will become your favourite Saint's Row activity ever. However I do disagree that Saint's Row 2 is the worst one when it comes to Insurance Fraud, Saint's Row 1 was FAR more annoying, if only you didn't perform the emergency truck glitch.

For me, the worst activities are the hardest ones to do on hardcore. Most of these are boring, but at least you don't have to repeat them over and over because they're really easy. Though I also never go for cheaty upgrades in SR3/4/GOoH because why play on Hardcore if I'm going to be invincible?

Just played through SR1 and found it easier for Hitman to memorize their faces and clothing (or just take a picture i realized later 🙄) and, without using the hud, kill npcs that looked like them who would randomly spawn anywhere during regular gameplay. Still sucked bc I would have the wrong weapon sometimes and see someone I had been looking for forever 😔 but it was still faster than using the HUD and waiting six months for one target to appear.

I'm struggling to think if I actually liked any of the activities in sr4. Even hit man felt boring. I don't hate sr4 I just found so much a bit too easy, repetitive, and after rescuing gat even the story missions suffered the same Gat Out of Hell suffers the same dull repetitiveness. I freaking hated mind over matter, I had blissfully forgotten that. Warning about to rant about how they handled gats return...Again. You can skip this part completely. It should have been more of a surprise instead of the playa going "is it Johnny? It's gotta be Johnny!" With no reason or lead up assume he's alive. Way to ruin a surprise since after attempting to get back to Stillwater no one hardly mentions Gat except Shaundi (not even going to get into how they've could've done Shaundi's transition from stoner party girl to too serious and kinda bitter woman but trust me I can). I get it that time constraints may have forced them not to develop that plot point more but really in the happy suburbia sim have the people the playa failed show up. Lynn, Carlos, Gat, Aisha, let us see some guilt or remorse that they died because of us/the saints by showing relief that they're there alive and happy. Later when out of the sim have Kenzie show a list of captured humans and the playa sees Johnny's name. Or just do the list thing. Just give us a reason why the playa would believe he's alive after accepting his death in 3.

I couldn't agree more. While SR4 had its moments (the Streets of Rage parody was a fun novelty), majority of the time I was bored bungee jumping around and hyper sprinting everywhere, the telekinesis minigame sucks too. That shit was jank AF, even for usual Saints Row jank.

@@BullworthGraduate I liked the cast of characters that we got in 3. 4 feels like it should've featured different characters. And rather than blowing up the Earth aliens just invade and take over the world leaving you (a new nameless character who's part of the saints) to develop super powers. You can either be a hero or an anti hero/villain, but whatever the case is there world isn't big enough for the saints and the zyn. And if it doesn't work out volition could simply say the hero game was just a comic story Pierce or that nerdy guy (forgot his name) was pitching.

Went back to see if there were really any activities in sr4 that I liked and looking at it with a critical eye... Ok I love you volition but I didn't like what you did with 4. 5 different types of mayhem? 3 instances where we have to use tk. Way less activities, divisions seem so easy One easy as hell as you can just hold the ball and run into things. Anyhow I noticed why that is for me at least, that there's not much behind it. It's just chaos, destruction, and maybe some comedy. These activities lack personality and reason behind the destruction and chaos. 4 doesn't help with the activities being assignments from our friends for wherever weird reason. And I think steel port being in a sim and us gaining super powers really stunted that, although you could do a lot around it I don't think they had the chance to really do it. Destroy, fight, run, platform. 4, though a complete game, in a way felt like a step up from a dlc game or better suited for a spin off.

the reason guardian angel was hard was because you had it on hard difficulty. when you put it to that difficulty the car has stupidly weak health since it multiplies the damage so best to lower the difficulty until you pass the mission.

In SR 1, it's also easy to finish hitman activity, just keep on taking a taxi to any spot in Stilwater, and after a while you'll have the victim spawned.

Number one for me is Crowd Control in SR2. I completed one instance with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, but only because I found an area I was best at and refused to play anywhere else. The Sonic Boom or bee gun would really come in handy for it. You more or less play a variant of it in that very mission in Saints Row 3's DLC strand, but it's fun as hell compared to the horror that is SR2's. Also SR2's Heli Assault. I surprisingly done well this go around, but there's an instance in SRTT where I have to use STAG takeover assist for it. Pierce's is okay because you have a better chopper, whereas you have the sucky one with Kinzie's. I haven't played anything past SRTT, but Mind Over Murder is giving me PTSD despite the fact! Pretty odd, because Genki's activities are usually fun. Oh, and tip for Saints Row 1's Hitman: memorize your target's character model and kill any other character model of the same design. The game will count it as the target! I got it done a lot faster when I learned and tested the exploit. It'll still be a chore, but the awesome weapons you're rewarded are worth it.

The drug missions in SR1 suck and sadly insurance fraud and mayhem are broken in SR1 as well cause cars don’t wanna spawn

Looking back, I liked Hitman and Chop Shop in original Saints Row compared to the later games. You needed patience, and a bit of planning helped, like carrying a designated weapon in each slot. They were also a different pace from the rest of the game. From Saints Row 2, everything is a mission.

For me trailblazing is annoying. I had nearly completed Steelport and the last 2 things to do were trailblazing in the luchadore and decker parts. Took me about 7 times each to complete them. And of course Gaurdian Angel

Personally it would be Los Carnales drug trafficing just for the insane difficulty spike. Going from level 2 where you can beat it without leaving the van, you then start level 3 and... rocket launchers, nuff said

Escort in 2, level one is standard enough but LEVEL 2s paparazzi are RELENTLESS!!!! They LITERALLY shoved me into a building entrance and I COULD NOT MOVE!!!!!!!

In no particular order and not including sr4 because i don't really remember all the activities in it. I do remember not liking a lot of the activities tho, including M.O.M. 1. Heli assault - super unfair and annoying. Enemies instantly spawn firing rockets that hit the protectee dead on before you can even turn your chopper to face them. After 4 stops it becomes tedious. Considerably easier in sr3 than sr2 but still a trash tier activity. Fun idea poor execution. 2. Fuzz - the game cheats so hard during this activity or just makes you do things that make no sense. IE - stop a motorcycle gang with a chainsaw or stop the speeding armored truck with a gatling gun but you never have time to get out the car before the trucks 2 blocks away. Plenty of times I'll finish the activity with seconds left and the end music will play but the counter will count down to zero anyway and fail me. Sometimes when you throw explosives into groups like the gang fight or pirates vs ninjas fight they do nothing and people keep running. 3. Sr2 Trailblazing - probably one of if not the most difficult things in a saints row game. The games driving mechanics do not aid in completing the activity in the slightest. If they did that'd be half the battle. The other half is how long the levels are. I think the later levels get up to like 40 checkpoints? Pfft. In contrast sr3 trailblazing and cyber blazing are incredibly easy. 4.Escort - At times i absolutely cannot put any distance whatsoever between me and the pursuers. The game refuses to let me. Who fucking knew just how fast and agile news vans were? I feel like anytime I've completed this activity it's been by luck. Again considerably easier in sr3 than earlier games but still not fun. 5. Mayhem any saints row - Don't necessarily hate this one i just don't see how anyone completes this one without a tank in sr3, an apc in sr2, or just only destroying fences for all the games. Because of that, tank mayhem is far superior. They should honestly just have regular Mayhem and provide a tank at the start.

I'm surprised Telekinesis Mayhem and Stomp Mayhem didn't show up, I absolutely hated them doing them the first time around, until I figured out you can just use the Tornado effect from the sprint power to do damage.
