People are saying that DC is becoming "less rock". 1. Even from the start, DC is marketed as "rock influenced girl pop", meaning they aren't 100% rock group. Their debut, "Chase Me", has more "rock", but is still isn't 100% rock. 2. If you're saying that DC is doing less rock, then you aren't listening to their b-sides. If the title track is not your type of rock, trust me, there is usually a song on every album which has more "rock" element in it. People are also complaining how they can't appreciate the song because they didn't know the "ymenehcra/Shasha's" story. 1. Even without knowing those twi**er thing, you can still understand the MV. I do believe that it's a brag song, but if you try to understand the Korean lyrics (Dami's rap especially), you can see that the song is going to that "overconfidence/narcissistic" route. If you explore Shasha's story being obsessed with the crown, you can appreciate it more. Nevertheless, DC is sending an eye-opening message through this comeback, you just have to know/understand it. 2. People are saying it doesn't sound like DC. First, try to listen to the song and try to imagine a K-pop artist who can pull this off. You can have your opinion, but all I can think of is Itzy (dance-wise), and Pixy/Purple Kiss (concept-wise). This is very DC-coded, not to mention it's an Indie-punk song. If you think this is not very "Dreamcatcher", you haven't been listening to a lot of DC songs. 3. People are also saying that DC became different when LEEZ left. Look, we all appreciate LEEZ, but let's not downgrade Ollounder and the new team. Ollounder knows DC's sound, and we can trust that they can work together to pull a concept/genre like OOTD. You can "not like" the song, but sending hate is an ❌️ to Insomnias. Remember what DC said in Scream/Boca/Odd Eye.

Vision gives me battle vibes, the music does, also girls do too. Sua gives me pirate vibes but shes a sea commander, Handong is sea commander but she only cared about winning, won so many battles, Gahyeon and Yoohyeon are war pilots and also commanders, Gahyeon is brave to take risks and shes intimidating but Gahyeon is young so Yoohyeon is more experienced, Jiu is a commander on ground battles, Dami knows the best about tanks and war technology, Siyeon is like the highest commander in the country, won the most battles and knows the better strategy. you know it's okay to admit that even though they're your favs, they have some songs that aren't really that great. to like every song from an artist is kinda unrealistic, every artist has at least one song that's a stain to their discography. as much as i love dreamcatcher and really wish they weren't so underrated, personally, "what" and "airplane" are absolutely godawful. especially airplane. i bought the summer holiday album back in 2021 and was so disappointed hearing "airplane" and i automatically skip it every single time it comes on my playlist lol. and their japanese versions really are weird to listen to, not bad tho. but i still love them even if i have these opinions :)
