Couldn’t agree more with lion king. Rocket Raccoon from guardians is proof that you can have realistic animals that emote and they’re both from Disney (there should be no excuses for that travesty). And cats was just... I can’t think of a word to fully describe what I feel.

Okay so the thing about the main character in Cats only having a few lines. (I assume he means Victoria, cause they advertised her as the lead in the trailers (Also, I didn't even see it, cause I could tell they were ruining my favorite ALW musical)) Victoria isn't supposed to be the main character. In the show she's just a background kitten. She never has any solos, or even a song about her. She only sings with the chorus. She does have a few dance solos. But she is in no means, a main character. If anything, the main character is Grizabella.

Rise of skywalker wasn’t even enjoyable bad, it was just plain bad for me 😂 Hands down favourite comment (from Jenny Nicholson’s twitter): Are the reylos even happy? How badly must you stumble to have Rey & Kylo kiss on the mouth and the reylos aren't even happy (Second tweet): Update: the reylos are not happy Like no, no we’re still not 😂😂 only good thing that movie did for me was to push me out of my fanfic reading slump that lasted all of 2019 and I’ve been binging reylo fics all since new years 💪🏻

I was a bit excited when the trailer fro cats was first posted, mainly because I follow and love Francesca Hayward as a ballerina and thoght "Oh wow, what a great opportunity for her", and then yes of course the cast looked good too. but after I actually watched the trailer I was like "No, no.no. Hello, I would like to join the Cats Support Group. Midway through watching it, I was already bored out of my mind and had little hope the movie would pay off in the end, so I thought to myself, "If I just get to see the main character sing Taylor Swift's song, maybe this won't have been a total waste of money." Then my tummy started hurting, so I went to the bathroom, and when I came back, my girlfriend told me I missed Beautiful Ghosts and I was SO SAD. She assured me it was just as bad as the rest of the movie though.

Controversial opinion, I liked Cats. The original musical has been said to be weird and a bit divisive and honor didn’t find the cgi as horrifying as everyone else seems to. The music was fun and the dancing lively and I just had a fun time watching it. Plus Taylor Swift floating down on a moon to sing a musical number about the villain was A+

I actually enjoyed cats I could rank it as a surprisingly good movie. I only saw it for Taylor Swift but I enjoyed the movie overall. I can see why people didn't but I liked it. Another surprisingly good bad movie for me was Dora. I kinda loved it. I enjoyed most movies I saw this year. However I do have two most disappointing. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood which i thought would be more about Mr. Rogers. I say skip it and see the documentary that came on in 2019. I also did not love Booksmart which I know was a fave for Christine but for me it was kinda messy and I just didn't enjoy it as I though I would. Which was weird for me because I love everyone in it and it's my exact movie genre but I just wasn't into it. Worst Movies of the Year: Good Boys and Nobody's Fool ( look them up or don't they sucked)
