What I run depends on what others are running and what is needed. For the last few days in RC, our tank keeps disconnecting. So I switch to my helmite ghost paladin and become the tank control wizard. If the other dps all change to healing companions and the healer focuses on me, I survive and we beat the dungeon. If I'm running a regular dungeon the batiri. If I'm just going to stand around afk killing things my mystic phelora.

Would be nice to see a comparison of all the endgame classes with similar builds to see how much different it’s the gap. I’m sure wizard will be the top dog but would be nice to see regardless

I like running the fire golem for AE and the Honey badger for single. TBF, I run the Batiri on ST high end stuff and run the Honey badger for the rest (I'm so lazy). I'd love the knight, but way too rare and expensive. Didn't wanna but the quest the other month just for it. Maybe should have. Edit: enjoyed the upload as usual :)

Well, I've had Minsc for I don't know how long but have been using The Bigger They Are since and have had the Knight and been using his power pretty much since he was introduced to the game and the earliest opportunity for me to have gotten it. Pretty sure I don't have a Batiri or Tamed Velociraptor and have been using the Lich's power, Drizzt's Devastation, and Hunting Hawk's Presence and the Bulette Pup. I do alright. Guess I should try to get a Batiri because my Power will reach green as I upgrade my insignias.

In mdwp we use Minotaur one or 2 if playing with a group that struggles cc the ads second boss. Makes it easy run especially if you don’t have a cw

So I've been running mystagogue with barbarian as its slow attack procs the extra damage from trample the fallen. Now I'm wondering if a single target companion could do better?

I saw someone ask you about Siege Master and Volcanic Galeb Duhr to which you replied that they weren't good as covered in your previous video. I reviewed your other video and saw you speak about Siege Master and the Netherese, but couldn't find where you went over the Volcanic Galeb Duhr. Did I miss it maybe? Is it working as a sperate hit like the Netherese perhaps? The 7.5% damage based off your health is vague and I have a hard time testing on console. More info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Volcanic Galeb Duhr will only give you 7.5% damage to encounters when you have 0% hit points, which means you are dead. You will nearly always be full HP. On top of that it only benefits encounters, which like I said, are not good bonuses cause encounters will not be all of your damage, on most classes it's 50% at best, so already the Galeb Duhr is half as effective as just stats or overall damage boosts

Strategically I still love my Stalwart Lion, it does so much for you...buff....protect and his roar does a pretty good amount of damage on mobs as a rogue...and is a little tanky!

Great video.. if you have time, can you explain about tank build? sometimes i saw tank priorities stamina regen (after defend, awareness and crit avoid), sometimes i saw build with incoming healing over stamina regen.. sometimes deflect/deflect serevity... i dont know what to priorities next since my defend, awareness and crit avoid already at 90% (with buff).. but my HP is like 1.2M..haha.. i play vanguard

for survivability, focus deflect and deflect sev instead of stamina or inc heal. But if your deflect sev is so low, like below 30% can just be better to go stamina regen. Inc heal depends on your healer. If they struggle to heal you, or your making a self heal build, then it's good, otherwise stamina is better

If i want to focus on deflect/deflect serevity, i notice i need to tone down my other 3 start (since im using flash freeze).. maybe i should change to fortified nature to balance those stat? In your point of view, better use fortifide nature to increase deflect or just using flash freeze and increase stamima regen instead?

No mentions for Siege Master and Volcanic Galeb Duhr? I bet they deal more damage than many of these status companions, of course taking into account some variables such as the class they equip.

guess you didn't watch my video before this one. Those bonuses are terrible compared to the overall damage bonuses like Knight, Minsc and Batiri, and even compared to 7.5% stats they are bad!

Wouldn't the Vallenhas Elite work for Infernal Citadel Dungeon or possibly the Zariel Trial. I know it's niche but that's the most endgame locations for avernus that I can think of.

I recently made a bard and have no idea why people think its not a good dps that thing is clearly top tier considering everything it provide at the same time, its just ridiculous good.

Im surprised to not see the minotaur for aoe since I see a lot using it for mdwp myself included. For ST I like honey badger as I feel it's not laying on the floor like most the companions as much 😅

The main objective here was to cover the companion equip bonuses. Striker companions change all the time. The Minotaur is great, not for its damage, but it's crowd control in certain fights. I suggested him many times in the past for aoe. His raw damage is low, but the control it great

Only problem with my barb, i have to focus on power and accuracy, and i have to use a Agument inorder to cap those two stats (I found the little gremlin dude on the disk the agument thst helps with that). My only stat outside of an agument, is my power being too low (Im at around 65k IL, and my power would go to around 55k without a Agument).

in most cases the Greenscale Bowman does best, cause he is ranged and good damage. In some Trials, where people take a lot of damage, Gzemnid, the Cyclops is best

Vallenhas Elit Soldier might be useful in TIC ... I don't know, never tryed, i'm using augment comps. They less problematic than the striker ones. *Edit for spelling

I personally believe you should make a clear suggestion for dps in dungeons, Assasin/Spine Devil/Scorp so the Tank and Heal can run the weaker ones like Tutor

I noticed some typos in your Companion sheets, as I've been making a similar document myself. It's in the *"Comp Equip Bonuses"* sheet. * Deva Champion goes in Utility, not Defence. Confused with Astral Deva? * Goldfish goes in Offence or Utility, not just Utility. * Owl goes in Defence or Utility, not just Utility Both Deva Champion and Goldfish have Crit Avoidance and Incoming Healing, the Owl has Awareness and Max hp. For Tanks, I'm a little surprised at how you ranked these (and the Duergar Guard), since you said you were ignoring Deflection in favour of Crit Avoidance. I see you've excluded all with Deflection and Deflect Severity (as have I), but you seem to be prioritising Awareness and Defence in your rankings over Crit Avoidance. Is it easier to stack Crit Avoidance from other sources than it is to stack Awareness and Defence? I'd be very interested in the rationale behind this. Also, why do you rank Max hp higher than Incoming Healing? Why would more Max hp be better than Incoming Healing? Is +30,000 Max hp better than +7.5% Incoming Healing? I was thinking of using Goldfish and either Deva Champion or Little White, for 2.5% CrAv, IncHeal and Movement. I bought Cunning Mimic a while ago for less then 400k, now people are asking 1.6 million. I got Deva Champion for about 1.8 million, now people are asking 3.3 million. I might sell them both! But there are so few Crit Avoidance companions that use Offense or Utility slots. I was looking at: OFF Goldfish O, U UNI Duergar Guard D DEF Lich D UNI Myconid D UTI Deva Champion U This would give me IncDmg -7.50% Aware 3.75% CrAv 18.75% IncH 7.50% If I sell the Deva Champion - Account, I could use Little White that gives me +2.5% Move and 1.25% less CrAv and IncH. Oh, and it's Golden Deep Crow Egg, of course, not Golden Deep Crow. Cheers! {:o:O:}

Thank you for the corrections, I updated them just now. As for the rankings. It is based on soly what gives the best survivability. Defense>Awareness>Crit Avoid However I rank Crit avoid above defense because tanks get naturally extra defense from Forte, about +25%. So your at 75% with the rating capped already. Then you have gear like fortified nature +12.5%, and boots +3%, and the blessed resilience boon giving another +6% Max Hp will give more survivability than Inc Heal, since you rely on the healer for inc heal, unless you make some sort of self heal build. Endgame healers will usually already over heal you by a lot and don't need the extra inc heal, so the max Hp is better to survive those big hits easier. As for deflect and deflect sev, you need both stats to be of any real effect. You cannot rely on a hit to deflect to survive. No matter how high you go, there is always that chance you do not deflect. So until you get all your other defensive stats maxed, it is not a priority at all. Not something I recommend a newer tank look at getting.

Why people still write velociraptor bonus as 3.75%? it's clearly 3.8%.

Speaking of Batari... I couldn't sell them back in the day for even 1k AD and unlocked them on all 12 of my toons... Now somehow... Not 1 toon has it unlocked and the price is outrageous.... WTF is up with that?

I run a Abyssal Chicken at mythic. Those single target ones don't proc fast and aren't worth it. I have a Black Death Scorpion too. Meh.

@@Aragon- OK, cheers. I've had one in a pack in the bank for years I forgot about. I could use it, or sell it for 4.3 million. I have a lot of junk that used to be worth a lot, like Rebel Mercenary 1 million, now 56 AD. And others that were 500 AD, now several million. I should sell stuff off more often! I remember I found 3 Xuna, sold 2 for a ludicrous amount. Soon after I made mine Mythic, she got nerfed. There times! {:o:O:}

Another problem is No one wants to run MToS for helping anyone without select (Gear) which they force you to buy from the Trade house btw .. which btw only they can get from those dungeons... END GAME BOSS FIGHTS very very specific build for a specific group of players means nada in "real world" situations but thanks for playing! some reason my tank keeps running into your admirers and they are about useless for most instances .... so so sad all that pretty mythic gear(86k) and get out dpsed by a 45k warlock
