carlo is my go to reviewer for the kind of games i like....short simple rules with heavy strategy in terms of gameplay not in terms of rules . thanks for your hard work and honest opinions #carlo and rest of the team...this , chairman of board and bones collector are my favorite channels... thank you again for you unpaid unbiased honest opinion

I'm familiar with Chairman and he seems to have a lot of overlap with me (and the other AYCB guys), I'll have to check out Bones Collector. Thanks for the kind words!

Bohnanza is a riot with my family. Some people get so bitter about trades and it just induces laughter. Great pic, Carlo

Thanks! One of Uwe's most underrated games, for sure. It's so good.

Something I don't see people mention very often when discussing sushi go is that there's a very significant rules difference between the base game and the party edition. After each round in the base game, you discard the cards people drafted and leave them out of the deck. In sushi go party, you add those cards back into the deck. I actually think adding the cards back into the deck makes the game considerably less enjoyable, especially at higher player counts. You can make a lot of informed decisions about probability when cards are being removed from the deck after each hand. Losing that piece of information in sushi go party always made that game feel so much less strategic to me

This is a good distinction. I never knew, thanks! - Braiden

I love the variety with each persons’ list. I resonate most with Braiden’s type of games (simple, party game, non/casual gamers) and would love to get a top 10 list of his underrated / most fun party games. I can guess his number (Just) One!

Thanks so very much! ☺️. I hope you enjoy the rest of the videos! And I LOVE the suggestion of my most underrated party games. I might have to steal that for a future video 😉. - Braiden

Carlo, I play Oathsworn exclusively solo. Phenomenal game, but my biggest gripe is how long it takes to play during a work week. The standee version is perfect imo.
@AllYouCanBoard11 ай бұрын
Good to know! Especially since I know we've had some decent overlap previously with solo games we both enjoy.

I love the back and borth of these videos. They're so much fun to watch. I'm also really happy to see Blue Lagoon getting so much love. I feel like it's kind of a hidden gem of the BG world. Can't wait for the next one.

Thank you! That really means a lot. We always hope our videos are genuine and authentic, because this is just how the three of us are with each other! Even when the cameras are off, we all sit on one side of the table to hang out or play games and we talk at the wall.
@TurtleDude0511 ай бұрын
@AllYouCanBoard 🤣🤣 Now I can't get that image out of my head. The three of you walk into a restaurant, and everyone sits on the same side of the table. Then, randomly starts talking to the wall about their top 10 items on the menu. All the while the waiter starts to approach, sees/hears you guys, and slowly starts tiptoeing back to the kitchen. 🤣🤣🤣

I've only played the basic version but it's soooo good. I get why some people don't love it, it's definitely group dependent, but with the right group it can be hilariously fun. - Carlo

Yall better give your impressions of Time of Empires when you get back from the cabin, I was curious about this game but there is not much out there giving me confidence to pull the trigger. As for Hansa its an acquired taste, I have had people really into crunchy board games dont get "it" and i have had some who play occasionally who would continuously ask about playing. Finally Dylan, it was like you were watching me in the audience and we shook our heads when Carlo said winter kingdom is the biggest improvement lol.
@AllYouCanBoard11 ай бұрын
We absolutely will be doing a post-cabin recap video and we'll make sure we play Time of Empires out there.

@codym637611 ай бұрын
My copy of Mille Fiori is being shipped to me now. I’ll be playing at 2 with a variant I found until I can get more people gathered up. Hoping it’s good. I also have Dune Imperium: Uprising and Hansa Teutonics on the way. They may not get played much either, but I had to have them just in the hopes of good game days in the future. Buying games I don’t have the optimal player count and group is normally behavior I try to avoid, but these games got exceptions.
@AllYouCanBoard11 ай бұрын
Nice! All of those are SUPER solid. I can't wait to try Dune Imperium: Uprising myself! Thanks for watching ☺️ - Braiden

Love y’all’s list and and conversations! I have a question, what metric do y’all use to rank your games? I was thinking of making a excel sheet to track my stuff 😅
@AllYouCanBoard11 ай бұрын
I think we each approach it a bit differently! For me personally, this year I really placed the focus on how much fun I have with the game. So I thought about if I was to sit down this moment and play two games, which would I likely have more fun with and be more excited to play. And then used the website PubMeeple to rank around 100 games until it gave me my Top 50. And then I did some rearranging from there until landing on the final list! -Dylann
