Exactly, I saw a psa for car safety recently and it wasn't scary at all. People need to bring back the scary psas, because I know if I saw these as a child I'd be absolutely terrified and never do any of this
@AngelDelight69 Жыл бұрын
@@akechifangirl Well the reasoning is the audience is targeting young teens that may not understand the world. While it appears to be for everyone there's no doubt the dramatic fall in scaring viewers is due to the audience not really being there. It seems PSA's went dry around 2012-2014 Which was around about the time KZbin went into full-blown force. I think that's the exact reason PSA's have not been around nearly as much or as graphic. Simply because these were designed to teach and give messages but if most of the audience wasn't even watching TV then there was no point in directing these to young teens. I think PSA's are essential and KZbinr's should be giving them out to keep their audience safe. I also speculate if this isn't the cause of why we don't get PSAs as shocking today, then there may have been a global ban on PSAs specifically with what content they show since this isn't just the UK this is the whole world pretty much

The firework PSA reminds me of an awful incident that happened to my nephew on the 4th Of July. My family wasn’t messing with fireworks, or being irresponsible in any way, shape, or form. We went to take the kids out on a walk before it got late; and we’re walking through a gated community, a bunch of closely knit apartments with security. As we walked by th4 pool area my brother in law waved at the neighbors and those idiots lit a whole bottle rocket right as we were passing by. The rocket fell into the stroller and landed on my baby nephew’s chest; exploding in his chest on all over his little face. My sister, (who has reflexes like a cat,) reached in, bad;y burning her own hand as well, and threw it away from us quick enough that he didn’t have worse damage. But he was still very badly burnt all over his chin, cheeks, and chest. The sad part is; these were adults; all over the age of 30. They weren’t little children, or teenagers. You’d think a grown adult would stop and think; “maybe I should wait until the 3 little kids walk away, before throwing this flaming mini rocket…”

@anayaweick79642 жыл бұрын
@Ahmed Malaki I don’t think that’s it. Foot and Mouth was an incredibly infectious disease that killed animals, and eventually they all had to be euthanized because if a human ate an animal that had Foot and Mouth, it could cause a human strain. A lot of farmers, especially in farms like the ones shown that are small businesses, are _incredibly_ humane with killing animals, so having to kill all these animals without reason seems super inhumane and it was devastating to these farmers.

I will say, whats good about all these PSA's is that they're all important messages that other countries might not be willing to show/say. All of them say something that should be said and they're all made to make people safer. And making people viscerally aware of the danger/the horror of something is a bloody effective way of doing that. They're all well made and are all suitably harrowing. Britain, you did a good job with these.

I googled it, according to the government the whales are meant to be killed ‘as quickly and with as little suffering as possible’ so either the people don’t follow the regulations or the PSA is a lie
