That seems to be the popular opinion, but I’ve always preferred both those films to Leone’s epic, that’s because I feel they’re tighter and have all around more rewatchability. However that doesn’t mean I like “GBU” any less, it’s still among my favorite films of all time.

The Dollar Trilogy by Leone is good, but there is so many better Spaghetti Westerns that are not so famous and much more entertaining and much better. Leones movies should have been made shorter without the long scenes. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is too long and it gets quite boring to watch.
