I just moved into a CBS home in Spanish Lakes. Very affordable even with the lot rent. HOA with no fees. The finishes are nice, impact windows and doors. Lot rent never goes up in perpetuity. All new construction, the 2brs are less than $300000.

each hoa community is different but on average between $250-550/month. Taxes are about $8k for a $400K house on average

No there are not any golf courses in Riverland however you can join PGA village membership for 3 area golf courses and you don't have the live in the community to join. Other communities that have a golf course are Astor Creek (membership comes with a new home purchase), Tesoro or St James to name a few

@steveschott9855 you are correct. I was mistaken. Impact windows do now come standard at Veranda Preserve. When they initially were building they didn't include the hurricane windows. Thank you for pointing out the oversight

No thanks Iv had all the Humidity Hurricanes and endless summers living in Houston for twenty years and 17 years in Corpus Christi before that while almost the whole country suffered record heat for weeks on end I don’t think we had more than 25 or 30 days in the mid 90’s in Fort Mill SC. I’m never leaving.
