Chameleon & Khameleon are wasted potential the female Khameleon had a more fleshed out story than her male counterpart like she is good and want her realm of Zaterra freed and is against Shao Kahn but hate that Reptile became so loyal to Shao Kahn and the male Chameleon was said to be a Saurian as well like he probably could be neutral good or evil or good like Khameleon and want his realm back and help each other make Reptile good but this story can really only be a thing if it involves Shao Kahn really.

Two from MKX: uses his invisibility to ambush Takeda. We know it didn't work thanks to Takeda's telepathic power and fighting skill, but that is how you use your known skills. Reptile using his brains as well as his brawn. Another one in the forest on earth in Jacqui's chapter, leaping through the trees to get the drop on the heroes, again using his natural climbing abilities along with his brain in a fight. More Mortal Kombat kharacters could stand to be like Reptile.

I’m not gonna lie, despite in non-cannon events of the game, Reptile is indeed a champion, come on, don’t believe me? Having his own boss battle in shaolin monks, feared warrior in Conquest (the tv series) and taking on Liu Kang in the movie like a MMA fighter, not to mention that in scorpion’s revenge, Reptile can slice trees and dodge bullets from close range and in the 2021 move he was beaten by 3 fighter instead of one and he survived being multi stabbed and in addition he could have killed Kano, Cole and Sonya if they didn’t work together, for me he deserves huge respect

I was halfway through the video and was gonna mention how badass he was in the MK Conquest show but, you covered it. I 100% agree with this list. Reptile VS Liu Kang in '95 was awesome and still holds up today. MK 2021 doesn't hold a candle to that.

For future games, I would love for NRS to bring back his Shaolin Monks design (either as default or DLC). I like that design because it managed to find a good balance, making him nicely reptilian while keeping his ninja flavor, which was similar to the other ninjas, but with enough unique details to be his own character.

Top 3 for me: 3. Being the first hidden character in a fighting game. The quest to find him and fight him was epic. 2. His appearance in MK2. It set the standard for what Reptile was like in terms of personality & showed us that he’d turn against his masters if they betrayed him. Where’d that guy go in all the sequels? 1. The original MK movie. When I first saw it, I was extremely disappointed that he was nothing but a bad cgi lizard. The movie is getting near the end. They beat Goro & they’re on their way to fight Shang. That’s it. It’s over. I’m not going to get to see Reptile the way that I wanted. And then out of nowhere he fuses with that statue and becomes the ninja that I wanted! And gives us the best fight in the movie! No special moves or special effects- just speed, skill & power! Great fight!! Single best Reptile moment ever, even though he did get beat.

For me Shaolin Monks is his best show in both he and Baraka were beasts in that game respected and real threats tough boss battles too. Also being the vessel for Onaga is indeed top tier stuff, and also his backstory is noble and interesting of he being the last of his species due to the war between Raiden and Shinnok aeons ago. As far as the best fighting game based movie I heavily disagree I see MK 1995 second to Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist nothing tops that movie made by fans for the fans where as MK is cheesy, SF Assassin’s Fist isn’t and it respects the lore between the backstories of Ryu, Ken Masters, Gouken, Akuma and Goutetsu how it’s all intertwined and has relatable emotion and heart in it as well as a few Capcom and SF easter eggs so yeah it’s practically a flawless movie but MK 95 I’d say is rite behind it.

I agree 100% To this day...Mk9, and the first 3 MK arcade games are still my favourite of all time! MK9 is probably the closest thing we will ever get to a true remake of Classic MK because of the classic stages and costumes it included! Lets hope they decide to do something similar in MK12!
