Snorlax. When I see normal type it's always that Snorlax that are most memorable one. And I don't think Normal + Other Typing count. Because the other Typing always out shadow the Normal Type and hit harder because of the super effective where as Normal type will never hit Super Effective damage.

This is a very interesting ranking!! Normal type only has one weakness which is fighting type, and one immunity which is Ghost Type. So it makes a very interesting ranking, having to really dissect every normal type Pokemon and figuring out what makes them strong as well as what makes them weak. What’s your thoughts on updating Best Eevee Team and adding Terra types as well. I don’t think Normal is necessarily meant to mean “ordinary”, but rather something that doesn’t represent one or two particular elements. Or in the case of Arceus, Silvally and Terapagos, all types at once. I mean Normal-types often have wide move pools that you wouldn’t expect after all

The Rock type list better have Iron Boulder on it. Yes, it has 7 weaknesses, but the fact that it's a fast physical attacker with a signature Rock move that has 95 base power and 100 accuracy and hits through Protect should be enough to warrant a spot.

It's defense stat is base 10 you ain't tanking no physical attacks unless you use that move that swaps special defense and defense

I'd say the most normal NORMAL types are the old regional birds and early route pokemon. Pidgey and ratata, thats where it is at.

Nice to see that the 2 non 2020-2024 normal type on this list is blissey and staraptor.......I feel like Tauros (gen 1), Snorlax (gen2~4) and Kangaskhan (gen 6) deserve a spot as well. i know they were big in older gens, but that doesnt change the fact that power creep happened BECAUSE of their influence in the meta's they dominated, meaning that they were extremely strong. Also you mentioned Cinchino but didnt give it a honorable mention. Also of course a legendary (or equivalent) is at the top of the list....

The first purely normal type since the additions of fairy is Meowth. There is nothing more normal than Meowth, and it can learn Payday (even normal moves are not normal). Speaking of adding fairy, I think we can say normal type is everything they decided not to classify as something else.

Why include Terapagos but not Arceus? I don't know why, I really liked the gimmicks from gen 6,7 and even 8 were kind of alright. Gen 9 feels so off. I don't know why, but I think the gen 9 meta and the power creep overall is just broken. I also dislike around 90% of the pokemon in gen 9. So many of them feel likenthey just remade an old pokemon and made it stronger in some ridiculous way.
