The worst Nickelodeon Movies movie: The Last Airbender The worst Nickelodeon movie, period: Fred the Show (none of them were good enough to warrant a theatrical release or even a small-screen release, so with that said, how is that Nickelodeon Movies is a theatrical company and Disney Channel Original Movies isn’t since if it really did make theatrical movies, then back in the late 2000s, they only made Hannah Montana and HSM3?!?! I guess because Nickelodeon just wanted to boast about how big-screen they could be… and sometimes, with early 21st Century classics like The Adventures of Tintin, Rugrats in Paris and Rango, they can make movies with enough theatrical charm to feel like better companies made this, and this is the cast with Industrial Lights & Magic with Rango and Steven Spielberg and Percy Jackson with Tintin. Then again, that’s probably because Nickelodeon couldn’t avoid the fact that they forced to hire good filmmakers).

That’s the perfect way to describe Michael Bay movies that aren’t good, not even in a way where it doesn’t matter if the story isn’t the strongest point of the action is that intense and the characters are at least benign, but in the live-action reBaykes, that’s not the case, not especially with Bayformers 1-3 because of how much of a misogynistic, narcissistic jackass Sam Witwicky was, especially in Dark of the Moon! Sure, Shane Dyson in Age of Extinction was similar, but at least he didn’t beat up his girlfriend to the point of a furious breakup like in between the events of Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon!

I feel like Barnyard is one of those cases where the movie is debatable on whether it’s good or not, but the show version was just so much fun and made up for what the movie lacked. I remember the show more than the movie, and so I prefer the show over the movie. Plus the animation is better in the show for whatever reason. At least there they had more of a visual style. 🙂

Y'know Lucas, the guy who actually makes Fred on KZbin and the one who made Fred The Show for Nick? Well, Lucas himself said that Fred The Movie which came two years before the show, was all supposed to be in theaters and not on Nick until months later as it was all shot without their involvement. Nick essentially waved the money to put it on television instead of theaters and the same thing happened with Fred 2: Night Of The Living Fred. Fun fact, Fred The Show premiered two months after Fred 2: Night Of The Living Fred and the show ended after Fred 3: A Camp Fred as it was cancelled on August 3rd, 2012 after the last of 24 episodes aired due to low ratings. It's considered a cult classic for some reason. He still makes content on KZbin as himself.

Coming back to this years later, I realized something. The guy who plays the Genie in the Bikini... that's Joey Richter. Joey freaking Richter. Joey is a very talented singer and actor, so it's so sad to see his potential wasted on something as stupid as Genie in a Bikini by Awesomeness TV. Thankfully, he's doing well for himself, and he's a part of StarKid, a Musical Production team. If you wanna see him perform in other, better works, I recommend checking out The Trail to Oregon (where he plays McDoon), Black Friday, or The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals (where he plays Ted).

03:04 What bothers me most about the design of the ninja turtles in this film is that they look really ugly. In the 1987 cartoon they looked like classic toys from the 80s, in the 2003 version they look like really cool anime characters and in 2012 they were really cute. But in 2014 it got really weird. Researching a little, I read that the faces of each of the turtles were inspired by real people, which, in my opinion, broke the design of our turtle friends. Great video, Strider!!! +1 subscriber

I have a great idea for a Fred movie: The Fall of Fred The town realizes that he is horrible, and they begin a man hunt for him. Fred is rarely seen, and the people hunting him have very enriching, interesting, and creative storylines and backstories. At the end, Fred is caught, they cut his vocal cords and tongue, and he never makes another god awful noise in his life.
