Maybe I'm a luddite, but i cannot fathom a situation in which i would want or need to initiate a print on the go using a mobile connection. A situation of urgency would necessitate buying a ready made off the shelf product instead of risking a print failure and waiting x amount of hours. I'm not sure why companies wasted money developing the capability. I think software that let's you send prints from a central location to one of many or several printers at once could have a place in a large enough print farm. I can imagine laying out four medium parts on a print and sending it to four idle ready printers to quickly produce 20 parts. Can someone explain how movile connectivity for printers is more than a gimmick?

I actually use the mobile app to start prints quite often as I still go to school on some days for up to 9 hours so if I design something in a break it can be done printing when I get home.

I'm going to disagree with the Kobra 3. I just sent mine back. First the print head stopped working for no reason, then the replacement print head stopped working, then the material handler's motherboard died.... Their quality control is VERY lacking.

My kobra 3 has been nothing short of outstanding for the 4 months I have had it. I must be lucky I guess?
