will the tg plasma lighter THEORRORETICLY light pam oil spray like a flamethe thrower ?
@BestSurvivalGear3 ай бұрын
We haven't tried this, but in theory, yes, a plasma lighter could ignite Pam oil spray like a flamethrower.

ive got a plasmas lighter in camo like the one featured, its awesome, but butane better for mini blowtorch uses..both in my kit
@BestSurvivalGear8 ай бұрын
that's true, we also prefer butane :)

The Clipper lighters are actually more better than the BIC lighters, and are also pretty cool.

Why are they "more better"?
@Caasiah2 ай бұрын
@@wilcoxtactical3716they are reusable
@pyrosmoak53Ай бұрын
Imo they're better bc you can refill both the butane and the flint. The flint striker assembly can be removed and used like a spark-light or ust spark wheel. Plus they're a bit smaller so they take up less room in a kit, tin, or pocket.

None of these are "survival lighters." These are light duty camping lighters or barbeques at best. Survival lighters run flint strikers, ferro-rods, tinder, oil, or lenses.

for those we have a different topic - if you check our channel - best fire starters! These are only lighters :)

I’d say have both butane and plasma. If you have solar panels. If there was a way to generate butane.

Old school rules. Some of the other lighters are quite nice the Zippo is still hard to beat.

True, I'm also a big fan of Zippo.

Whoever came up with this top list has zero idea about survival. Zippo at #1 lmao and the Notorious B.I.C.
@BestSurvivalGear3 ай бұрын
It’s interesting to see how different preferences can be when it comes to survival essentials. Ranking Zippo at #1 is due to its durability and the ability to perform in windy conditions, though I see why some might question its placement. As for the Notorious B.I.C., it’s known for being reliable and cost-effective. What are your top picks for survival lighters?
@D2G103 ай бұрын
@@BestSurvivalGear zippo evaporates like crazy. You will have a dry tank in 5 days max even if u don't use it at all. Can’t be used as a survival fire source.

@@BestSurvivalGear as for the list. i would remove zippo and add clipper.

you selected the one lighter that has "to be filled" every couple of weeks cuz it leaks and evaporates as the #1 survival lighter. In a survival situation do you really think people would like to carry around extra lighter fluid with them or just use a plastic BIC lighter that as you said will get the job done and lasts much much longer? Ounces makes pounds, if you're rucking anywhere weight matters.
