Crisp Wisconsin night out and I tried layering two of my favorites, Wanted by Night, and Bvlgari Man in Black. Went heavier on the MIB. On my skin the WBN takes over and the MIB makes it a bit more interesting. Makes WBN better, but MIB is better by itself without wanted by night added. Ill definitely try pour homme and AHSExtreme, as pour homme is a compliment magnet for me.

My go-to signature is Molecule01 first, then a healthy coating of Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme on top. Tip: For close encounters - apply 1 heavy spray of M01 on the back of your neck, over-spraying some on your hair. Then hit that same area with a heavy layer of AHSEE. Do NOT spray the sides of your neck. Only the back of your neck the lower part of your hair as well as the top of your shoulders. The bonus with this technique is that the cologne lasts way longer when applied to your hair and clothing. That why when you hug her, she's burying her nose in the cologne, but if she kisses your neck, she's not getting a mouthful of alcohol and chemicals. With this combo you leave an "alluring" sillage/scent trail. My GF LOVES this combo and is the ONLY one she specifically ASKS for. (She has choices, I have a very large collection) BTW, she absolutely hates Aventus - and in reality, it seems that most chicks do. Anyway - interesting vid. The other combo I like is M01 again, plus Givenchy Gentleman Cologne. Another great combo.

Bentley for men Intense and Spice Bomb Extreme or (beverly hills polo club Blaze. For real.) blends very well..i assume its similar to his Bulgari MIB and Spice Bomb Ext. Mix. I've gotten nothing but compliments and if it's on my clothes(like a coat or pullover/hoodie) it will last for weeks and starts to smell gourmand-ish.. like a snickerdoodle and a brownie had a baby.

I layer all the time. Kiehl's Original Musk is a good base for plenty of fragrances. Today I am layering GIT with Atkinson's 24 Old Bond Street with just a touch of Serge Lutens Fille en Aiguilles. I get mixing wafts of each... It really extends the Atkinson's when you layer it with pretty much anything. Cool video.

I layer on my chest/neck area. The stronger scent first then lighter scents on top... So today GIT (2 sprays) Atkinsons (2 sprays) the Serge I did as an after thought and very light spray 1 time.

Chanel AHSEE is a little basic. I really like it, but for me it's just powder with a little mint. I like to add some Montblanc Legend Intense (another tonka fragrance) to just give it a little bit of a fruity/spicy kick.

I noticed that most videos layers by spraying in the same spot. I sometimes spray a fragrance the usual 3 places and then might spray another on the back of my head/neck. Like say ADG twice on my neck under my ears and one spray high on my chest. And then a spray of MB Explorer on the back of my neck and under my t-shirt.

If I find a good mix that works for me.. I don’t layer them per say.. I mix them in a decanter as to not waste juice. For example.. I mix 1/2 & 1/2 Club de nuit intense man with Swiss Arabian Shawq.. the pineapple exc. in Shawq works nicely with Club de nuit. So there you go.. my 2 cents 👍🏻

I have experimented with layering and mixing. Best combo for me is mixing Aventus:Millesime Imperial:Molecule01 (2:2:1 ratio) into a travel atomizer. Very elegant and masculine. Great for everyday. Unique. Also working well is Aventus:BR540:M01 (3:2:1). A little sweeter and project much more. More for fall. Layering requires too much of each and the total volume is not ideal for office.

I like Herod and Ultramale together, as well as Dior Elixir with Naxos. Those 2 combos are sick. I don't understand the Molecule 2 with with Sauvage EDT or EDP. Both of those already have a ton of Ambroxan. I'd be layering with some Afnan 9pm, which is an Ultramale clone, with the EDT, but the EDP starts to get a little more rich, so not sure something as powerful as an Ultramale clone is going to balance it properly. Certain colognes I almost don't want to mess with, like Spicebomb Extreme, but, try Spicebomb Extreme with Cedrat Boise and for a cheaper option, try Rochas Moustache with Lacoste L'homme Intense. Thank me later gentlemen ;)

What notes do you like? I would say for your age I’d go Absolu. The apple gives it a more youthful smell than the Code Profumo or Jazz Club. If you want a more mature booziness go with a stronger with you. Intensely is really strong.

Agree the performance is awful. I found that "animalix" by indy perfumer aaron terence hughes works incredibly well in tandem with elysium. It's primarily deer musk. Comes off sweet and musty. All base notes.
