Totally agree on Greenwich Village! I think it is one of those rare fragrances that I feel is truly unisex and smell good on everybody. I have never been complimented more on a fragrance. I recently picked up Torino 22 and that too is pretty unisex to me. I really enjoy your videos and hope your channel grows quickly as you do provide an interesting view point which helps viewers to make purchasing decisions. Keep up the good work!

Definitely agree with you on Haltane, I just bought a full bottle, and it is my favourite fragrance of all time. Although I think that it got formulated to a better version recently, which might be the reason for why it did to get the hype it deserves when it first released. I remember trying the batch from two years ago and not liking it as much. I have also seen other youtubers change their mind about it recently.

I think The “cinnamon sticks” that you get from journey man is the smell of sichuan pepper. Sichuan pepper smells like lemony pepper because it has slight citrus quality. And its very prominent in the opening. Very spicy. If you go to any sichuan hotpot restaurant you will smell this as they used a lot of sichuan pepper in their cooking. The dry down is smoky and woody from the cypriol and incense. Gorgeous scent and very underrated from Amouage. Its in my top 3 Amouages and top 5 fragrances in my collection.

This is the first video of yours I’ve been able to catch. I like the down to earth style that you approach your rating system with. Just a helpful suggestion, I know these names are killer, but the maker of Wulong Cha is pronounced Ni- Shawn-A (long A). That will help you sound more professional. I know it’s tough just venturing it out and trying something new, props to you for trying. There are so many houses from so many countries, it’s almost impossible to remember how to say each one, but Nishane is one of the bigger houses. Amouage is a very important house to cover, I’m surprised that you connected with Journey Man. Not surprised good or bad, just surprised. Most usually start with Reflection Man, Interlude Black Iris (as long as you like Iris) or Jubilation XXV (25) - think blackberries, but you ought to try and sample Overture Woman. It’s not really a women’s scent, it’s unisex, and its primary notes are cinnamon, apple brandy, and leather and it's a perfect fall/winter fragrance. Well, those are just a few of my thoughts. Thank you man! To each their own I love what I do and would do it for free. I don’t want to be a sales associate have 0 interest. Do the right thing and love what you do it will age well and be something you can be proud of. Speaking from experience - My last channel was a different niche but I got 60 million views on it I remember when I could have sold out and am so glad I didn’t.

@@CgScents I really respect your opinion and views fragrances it feels that It is 100% authentic and genuine however, I feel like most other fragrance channels are very misleading because of free bottles and affiliate links. @@lafayettewatts7805 I actually deleted it you can search “Cg Kid” and some content is still up from it. It had a lot of vulnerable personal stuff talking about recovery from drug addiction and I had to move on. I don’t think a fragrance channel can be unbiased when receiving any form of compensation. Maybe they are for a time but I feel that’s always going to influence the content. I may have to pay for samples and not have a background bottle flex 😅 but I’m good with that. There’s too much watered down commercialized content in this niche.

@@lafayettewatts7805 for me 10000% Tony iommi special not because Carlisle is bad but Iommi is just so amazing. I’d give Carlisle like a 9 and iommi a 10 but that one point makes a big difference. My wife also rated Iommi a 9.5 and Carlisle an 8. Will release those when I can.

Yeah im sure. I interpret eucalyptus as having a mint-like smell. Prolly could have communicated more accurately. I don’t really read notes or watch videos on fragrances to keep my explanations and content original so I just share what I get from it.

Bro watch my video and see the honorable mentions 😅 I think I dropped 20 in 60 seconds lmao. Too hard to choose. Halfeti is good I got bored of it so did the guy I sold it to. It’s just a really nice fuzzy sweater fragrance but felt redundant for that I usually go for Initio Rehab which I like more. I much prefer real Oud and rose you can really find in European brands. Arabian Oud makes a good one called Royal Oud or the more affordable ‘Woody’ I don’t get bored of those. Halfeti doesn’t really have a lot of rose and the oud is very westernized.

@@CgScents😂😂 Halfeti is super expensive here in Aus too. Cheapest I can find it for is $312aud 😰 Rehab has been on my radar, as I do love spicebomb the original, I was just concerned for the pricepoint that rehab would be to close to spicebomb.
