It's really nice seeing a young tourist enjoying our country. We often ( not always) take it for granted here. I suppose people do that everywhere. Other thing that's happened over covid is many more Scots exploring their own country . My daughter is just back from camping in skye. Thanks for making the film.

Great video, Skye is awesome! The beasties that protect the Fairy Pools are midges, National Bird of Scotland. Lots more to see but you hit the big ones. Check out Neist Point some day.

We went to Scotland 2 years ago for a 10 days' trip. And only 1 day on Skye. I would like to go back to visit Skye and stay more. Dunvegan is the birthplace of my family. I felt my roots. I love Scotland.

@@RyanShirley its a train trip from Fort William to Mallaig, called the Western Highland Way, supposed to be one of the best train trips in the world, stunning views. We caught the diesel train which was about £20pp, but they also do a trip using an old steam train, which costs slightly more.

The negative comments from some of my fellow countryfolk are embarrassing, especially the ones that can't offer a tiny morsel of a complement Many a Scot struggles with the Gaelic place names and you clearly meantioned that you passed Glenfinnan Viaduct on the way to Skye and that it wasn't in Skye. Gorgeous shots! You were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather when you did the Old Man of Storr hikes! We stayed on the Isle of Skye for 6 days and it was rainy and windy almost the whole time. Finally did the hike in wind and light rain before leaving.

I equally loved the Brother’s Point. We visited Oct 19. Unfortunately couldn’t hike old man of Storr as we were with a toddler, and it would often rain. Your drone shots of the place are gorgeous

@@RyanShirley Northen England.. One hours drive and then I'm in Scotland over the Border at Carlise. Wales is quite stunning in places too. You should do the NC500 Scottish road trip too - 500 miles from Inverness that takes in Glen Coe, West coast around Skye and further north before coming back down to Inverness ✌

Lynn Pietras May is generally one of the better months for weather on Skye and it’s also before the midges really get going, but of course Covid means not this year. I was due to go climbing in the Cuillin mountains in May but have changed to end of September in the hope that Covid restrictions will be lifted. Enjoy it whenever you go. It’s a climber’s paradise but even for non climbers there’s plenty to see.

Epic place for mtb you really need to check out the cullins hills you will get some great footage with your drone out there-it's a couple hours walk tho well worth it beware of the swarms of midges out there tho they like humans!!

My family came from the Isle of sky and the isle if Mul, there is a cave called McKinnons cave that where my family came from, we have our own crest and everything, I have 1 Scottish parent and 1 British parent but we are also Irish and welsh

@@RyanShirley nope, my family came over on the first fleet one of my great great grandmothers came with her husband and two sons her husband and one son died the other one carried on the name according to my nan, so I'm in Australia, my family are really mixed backgrounds mainly Scottish and British though
