I would say in order to become a wealthy dentist you need to be a great business person or team up with someone who is good. Also move to a business friendly state:)

@@StudentLoanPlanner I was accepted to NYU Dental last year, and it was the only school I got in to. I applied without realizing truly how expensive it is. Ultimately, I chose not to go (an article you published about the program had a partial influence on my making that decision). Instead, I spoke with my state school about what to do in order to be a successful reapplication and then decided to reapply in state. Fortunately my decision paid off now I'll effectively be saving around $200,000 for postponing my education one year.

This was very helpful. Graduating in 10 months with 300k student debt. Still deciding whether to acquire a practice fresh out of the school or work as associate for at least a year.

stereotypes are dangerous is so true. thank you for this video. I’m a junior in HS and I’ve always cared about oral hygiene but it wasn’t until this year that I realized a dentist would work for me because I can’t put in the effort and I also would like to be rich. Thank you for inspiring me even more with this video. :))

Hello, I find this video very interesting, but I have to ask something. In my country dentistry is completely free, like every other college (croatia). If I do not have a loan, then some rules may differ. I can start saving money right away, and buy a car or a house much faster. Do you have any advices for me, comsidering that I dont have a loan?

If I were you I'd still follow these same steps even if you don't have loans like this. Because that just means you'll have even MORE money later on. But also I'd say maybe treat yourself a bit earlier on since you don't have 200k to pay off lol.

Great video! My husband just graduated from Dental School with a minimal loan (we had to pre plan since we’re older) but everything you said is on point, especially with the Doctor & spouse being on the same page about finances. Great info!👏🏼 - subscribed!

Single most important thing. Don't get married or marry someone with solid career. Ideally another dental student.

@@arthurbilenker2622 it definitely helped that we had the same long term life goals and finally got on the same page with our finances. Having a husband in dental school with small children was not an easy journey but I wouldn’t do it any different. We both grew a lot from challenges. May you find the right life partner to share the experience with - good luck!

Don't set up a 401K for yourself or employees. They are a jail for your money. Look into whole life or IUL's for yourself and employees and educate them on how it can be your and their own bank....then use it to fund down payments for multifamily investments or apartment buildings... much faster way to financial freedom.
