We're going to have a few club members join us on the October 24th show to talk about studying for the online exam. I'll be creating that show in a bit here. A few of us have passed it, and we also have a video on our channel with some resources for studying. Tasting is definitely tricky! The closest to us was about 3.5 hours away this year, until we started getting other club members interested. We got in touch with a local National judge who agreed to help put on a tasting exam for us as long as we could get 6-12 dedicated people to pass the exam and participate. See who your regional representative is in the BJCP and reach out to them for some names. If you can get some people interested in passing the online exam and committed to doing the tasting exam I'm sure you can find someone to put on a test as the organizers of the exam get points for doing that as well.
