Vanilla Sex is way out of my price range at $395. I’m goin to stick with Sweet Tooth (Sabrina Carpenter) or Casmir (Chopard), Eau Gourmande Ambre Vanille (Laura Mercier) or Fancy (Jessica Simpson). Vanilla Sex sounds awesome but I’m a lowly Federal employee on a budget. I can layer these gems and close enough for me 😊

Completely agree with you Sebastian. Tom Ford has been an underwhelming fragrance house but Vanilla Sex is really good (and super happy that they bought back Azure Lime).

Im obsessed with vanilla but vanilla sex did absolutely nothing for me. But vanilla planifolia is amazing however, initio absolute aphrodisiac is still my favorite vanilla

I tend to like vanilla best when it's mixed with a ton of spice, so I'm intrigued to see what Vanilla Edesia is like. I really want to try Vanille Supermassive as well. I sampled Vanilla Sex at Sephora yesterday and litterally got nothing. I think i may need to let my bottle sit for a while once it arrives bc I can't fathom spending $300+ to smell absolutely nothing. Lost Cherry is a beast comparitively (and we all know how poorly that performs).

I had tested Vanilla sex at Nordstrom when it first released and was so underwhelmed. A complete No for me and I own quite a few TF bottles. Easy pass.

There is a floral in TF Vanilla Sex similar to one in Borabora. I couldn’t take Borabora and kept smelling this irritating note. I finally figured it out. I returned my bottle to Sephora.

You know what house doesn't get talked about for their vanilla fragrance? Eau Duelle by Diptyque, as you know Eau De Parfum released in 2013.

Great review, thank you! I'm a big fan of all of these - specifically I happen to love Matiere Premier's Vanilla Powder ... I don't find it as unique/mysterious as you do, I tend to get a pretty even blend of all 4 of the notes described in the perfume and think it's very nice and wearable. Have you tried Sissa by Mind Games? I think it's a hit ... definitely boozy, syrupy and gourmand, what are your thoughts?

I'm waiting for a sample set of Les Eaux Primordiales from Ministry of Scent to try the Vanilla Supermassive . I have a sample of the Guerlain which I really want to buy , but , I'm waiting for a deal from Bergdorfs . Now I want to try Vanilla Sex because of your rave review. Great Vanilla Video. I enjoy Jo Malone Vetiver Golden Vanilla. It’s a good smoky thick not sweet but spicy vanilla. It’s not traditional vanilla at all and I love it!

I have Vanille Supermassive and really like it. Every step of the wear is a joy, even the drydown and still smelling it the next day. I bought a bottle and the discovery kit direct from the house and the presentation was beautiful. So excited to try the other fragrances :) Not sure where I first heard of this house? Maybe from you? I guess this was a blind buy for me, having never tried it before. Overall, really impressed so far and I can see myself (and my husband) wearing this often and eventually getting another bottle :)

Hi Sebastian, this is a bit off this videos topic but I have to ask 😊 I would really love to hear your thoughts on these two brands Olibere and Ahwaz fragnance. Today I just got Sortilege from Le Gallion (based on your review from 4 years ago 🙂, and I looove it) and with it I got a sample of Olibere Le jardin de Mistinguett. It is very sensual and retro I think you would love it 🙂 also Chemical love sounds very interesting. And from Ahwaz, I would really love to hear from you about Helwa, about all of brands fragnances actually 😁 Have you tried any of them so far? Hugs from Croatia 🤗

I would say the bitterness of the bitter almonds is quite prominent and I don't get bitterness of almonds in Italica. I think you should get a samples to test prior. It's quite pricey. :)
