Banning Modok, Viper, and Firebrand over Wesker, Haggar, Wolverine, and Akuma based on Tier level is not only intellectually dishonest, but TNS is obviously trying their hardest to help a certain losing player to win at least 1 tournament by any means possible 😂. Nonetheless, I predict either Mario19 or TJINR will win next week based on their skill level and how well they play their team comps....since there is a very low chance JWONG puts down his mvc2 controller and decides to sneak on in and molly-wop the entire field. Yeesh. I know UMvC3 is a solved game but there's a limit in just how much you can stomach always seeing the top tiers take a tournament. No way the community would do this but they should just ban Magneto, Doom, Vergil, Morrigan, Phoenix and Zero.

If you do that, you're just gonna get Nova, Spencer, Haggar and all the characters a tier under that that would dominate the game if those characters didn't exist. You don't eliminate the problem by banning characters. You just change it. What happens when there are 6 nova/spencer players in top 8? Ban Nova and Spencer? What is the line for characters you ban simply because they're good?

@@zakk219 I don't really care about what would take over the meta if those 6 get banned since whatever does take over would be a bit more manageable and bearable to watch especially when realistically there's no reason to not use a combination of Magneto/Doom/Vergil/Morrigan/Phoenix/Zero on a team if you want to win consistently. Or you just happen to be a character specialist and also include 1 or 2 of these characters I'd like banned. Besides, like I said, it would never happen because the players would immediately act like Smash players and vehemently push against the idea of any character being banned because they'd have to learn a new character or team.

Morrigan is the third best character in the game. She needs other characters. Zero and Virgil don't. She's also the worst anchor of the 3.

yeah but she's by far the most oppressive character with a good team, like who cars if you need assists no one is going to be able to hit you, Vergil on incoming has no options and whilst Zero does he is actually playing the same gam as everyone else he just plays it the best, Morrigan is so good because she doesn't have to play the same game as everyone else. You turn the game into a bullet hell instead of a Tag Fighter

@@illford zero does the same thing on incoming. And Virgil does it as an anchor. Both of them won more games than Morrigan. Zero games and Virgil comebacks are more successful overall than Morrigan with a full team unless you were Chris g or ryanlv and recently cosmos.
