Gosh, agreed 100%!! That comes with trying a lot of wigs, low budget to high, and feeling confident in your own skin, and in your hair. I love this video!!! Mel always looks beautiful, but for those of us starting out, it is especially promising-we do have hope to get away from the fear of losing our hair, and still being beautiful! LOVE this video! All of the them are beautiful, I will keep referring back to this, adding to my collection, and then venturing out with her at work, and with family. As Mel said, you need to build a collection, so that they last longer for you. I wear wigs year round. I have always worn hats in the summer so wigs are doable for me. I think it's just doing it and acclimating to the continual wearing of wigs.

The thumbnail picture of you in Drive makes you look like you're oh so very young! At first I thought you were a teen but it looked like you so I clicked to watch and it was you. I'm grateful that you do only gray wigs; it's so helpful to see the different colors. I bought JR Angelique in Palm Springs Blonde . It was love at first try on. The fit and feel is so comfortable and I absolutely love the color. I want more styles in that color. I've been buying strictly gray wigs but there are other 'grays' out there too. I also have EW Star in gray but haven't really played with her yet but do like the density and look.

You can, another wig truck for more volume is to hold wig upside down and with a hair dryer i side the cap blow with heat and then dont turn it rightside up till it cools. Or use air curler on med heat and hold it at base of hair near cap to get more lift.

I love all those styles. I am almost 67 and feel like some of the long cuts with waves or layer aren't very flattering on me because of my neck/sag. Sad but true. That being said, they all look great on you. I now have 4 wigs and a topper. I think I'm addicted to wigs 😊

Does Ellen Willie Drive wig the long Bob, does it run small? It is exactly what I’m looking for after many Jon Renau wigs. His line just does not have anything like it. Renau regular wigs just fit me. I did get a jon Renau large and it is too big but I still wear it. I heard one review say Ellen Willie wigs run small. True or not? Thanks for this Mel, it is awesome to see the ones you like for low density. I love my JR Cameron (in Storm) and EW Esprit (in Silver Blonde Rooted). I don't have any of the others you've shown yet (I have MANY wigs though). I feel like I should keep getting more of the Cameron and Esprit wigs because I love them so much (I will try pink, and might even try blue, if Cameron comes back in that color). The 4.5 ounce weight on EW Drive makes me think it will be too hot on me. I have just ordered 2 JR Victoria wigs (for the hot AZ summers) so we'll see how she looks. You look great in Star Quality (and are very pretty). Thanks again!

What a great video! Play it straight was my favorite but RW doesn’t produce wigs in color 38 (brown with gray mix). The other colors are beautiful but I need a cool ash brown with gray. 😢

Elastic straps? If you mean the adjusters to tighten or loosen. There are 3 types. Velcro, bra style and pull adjuster. Which one is yours?

Hi Mel. I bought a human hair wig from Beyoncé wigs following your recommendation but I can’t get it to stay on my head. It keeps sliding off backwards. It has an elastic strap. Any ideas as to how I can get this wig to stay on.

Most people use adhesive to adhere to hairline in front. I don’t because it fit snug. I think you must have received a large. Wear a wig grip, if that doesn’t work try the roll on adhesive or tape. Look at both in my Amazon store in Linktree to see what I’m referring to.
